[RELz] Morrowind Overhaul - Sounds & Graphics

Kingpix: A week or so back i installed your overhaul with all the patches, i loved how colorful and clear the lighting was in the daytime, light was reflecting perfectly off trees and objects, i then switched to the new lighting settings you provided (and which you say you will patch to) and i have to say that the lighting is not an upgrade in all areas. Might be something you want to check out before patching it up.

Actually I gave you the wrong settings, I'm sorry.
The correct settings are the ones that TennysonXII reported here.

I've found 2 landscape texture seams myself, I'll post screens whenever I get the chance.

I found the modlist of the project "Morrowind 2011" which died along the way due to the author not asking for permission to use the mods.

Maybe you find something inspiring Kingpix... :hubbahubba:

Also: Did Connary explicitly tell you that you cannot use his textures? Maybe flattering him a little and asking politely would make him allow their usage? He was online not too long ago saying he won't complete his compendium any time soon (IF he ever will...) I Got AllConnaryTextures.rar and AllConnaryTextures2.rar but you got those, I'm sure...

Well, I don't something to include, the 99% of that list is included.
Yes, I asked Connary and he said that he doesn't want his textures in Morrowind Overhaul.
And since he asked to not discuss about his textures I won't ask again :)

Which mod adds the creaking sounds to balmora and vivec? They're driving me insane and the game wont even start if i disable the expanded sounds file...

You have to disable GH_ES1.3 Patch.esp and GH_Extra_ES1.3 Patch.esp aswell.

Ah, thanks thats probably why the sounds didnt stop when i edited them expanded sounds.esp too. Brilliant modpack man!

1) What textures for architecture ( and regions) does this use?

2) Are unique weapons replaced?

3) I know theres a mod that makes things that should be round, round. Does this pack use it?

I know I got more, just gotta remember.

1) A lot of different textures.
Read the modlist for more informations.

2) Most of them

3) If you mean Better Items, Mesh Improvements and stuff yes, they are included.

Can someone please help me?

I'm looking for the name of a specific texture so I can replace it. I already replaced a few, but this one I can't find. I've DL'd a .dds viewer and gone through all of them and I can't seem to find it; i've even DL'd the original mods and gone through them.

If someone could tell me how, or just tell me I'd be very grateful.

It's the texture around Balmora that's basically just leaves. If you get off the silt strider it's the texture right before hitting pavement, basically. The texture drives me insane but I can't find the name to replace it.

Other than that and the Hlaalu building texture, everything in the pack has been great.

Here you go: (I actually kept getting an error in-game about the screenshot ini setting, even though I changed it, so I took one in windowed mode, so excuse the black square, that's where I had to alt-tab out of MW to take a windows screenshot, lol.)

Or something like that. I'm not really sure about that, because I don't have the PC with the game installed right now :P
