When i generate distant land with MGSO 2.1 is it normal to get 24 distant land warnings?

I usually get 22 and yes, that's normal. If there are any odd warnings that aren't as long as the others, or worded differently that most, maybe we can sort out why your number is different than mine.

The installer from post #7 says "2.0"...

but is it actually 2.0.1? because thats what i'm after

The 2.0.1 installer I have is 1.58 GB (1,702,663,291 bytes) according to Windows. I'm still downloading the one from the Italian site - rather slow - so can't compare the two.

Yes that's what I have, yet the installer window and guide call themselves 2.0...whereas the Italian site says download 2.0.1 (yet the file is called mgso20.zip

I'm guessing Kingpix just made a quick change and re-uploaded, without changing the number

Can someone give me working download links? If I follow the links on the homepage it's loading endless until it's canceled automatically. :(

Did you try the forum? Or, there is a youtube instructional that has all the links that you will need. Try this:http://www.youtube.com/user/phantomryu

The video leads me to the homepage links. But I will try to find download links in the forum.

Edit: I can't find them.

MGSO is a great way to add nearly 60 beauty mods. Worked very well with just a little setup effort. I do have one question though. Would anyone know how MGSO handles Better Bodies? Running MLOX puts up a red flag,

!!!'Better Clothes_v1.1.esp' Requires:
> 'MISSING(Better Bodies.esp)'
| "Better Clothes" requires version 2.1 or 2.2 of Psychodog Studios' "Better Bodies"
| (Ref: betterclothes.txt)

The bodies do appear to be working in-game but I do not know what to look for to check the better clothes. Checking the load order I do not see esp for better bodies nor do I see an esp for either of the beast bodies. There is found an unexpected esp New Bodies - Mature.esp at the bottom of the Mlox load order. Is this a rollup of the Better Bodies and the new beast bodies? If so, how will this affect other mods with better Bodies requirements? Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Is this available to download at all anymore? The Italian site doesn't work for me, and I don't want to DL the torrent if it's a trojan-fest.

This missing plugin alert is normal, it's because MGSO use the pluginless version of Better Bodies.

Thanks, much appreciated. I can ignore this then. This brings a up couple questions if you don't mind me asking? What is the advantage in using the pluginless version over the plugin one? Also, would you happen to know where the New Bodies - Mature.esp comes from? Is that for the beast bodies? The reason I'm asking is because I don't like the naked male Khajiit and wanted to see how hard it would be to switch it with a pn version.

I'm beginning to think I should have done all this myself as I like to know what is going in and what to expect coming out. I started to, I actually did a clean install and added better bodies and better heads to see how they looked compared to the a MGSO install. My attempt did not look as smooth in the shoulders and the head and body coloration did not match-up well in comparison to the MGSO install. Compilatons like MGSO are great but many times they tend to leave me wondering what is going on here.

Thanks you for your very informative and insightful answer. That actually is the very first thing I did before I even decided to use MGSO. The Mod list provides a good list of everything going in but says nothing about what to expect in your initial load order. As an example for Better Bodies MGSO Mod List and Credits said "Better Bodies Replaces the original segmented models of Morrowind with fully deformable, continuous bodies." Nowhere was any mention made of whether or not the plugin version or pluginless version was being used. So, when Mlox throws a red flag about missing Better Bodies esp I get concerned and want to why and what the ramifications are. Then there is this stranger in the list called New Bodies - Mature.esp at the bottom of the load order. So, I'm thinking the this must be for LizTail's new beast bodies mod but LizTail's new beast bodies 3.3 mod I downloaded contains two .esp files, one for each race. I know what's going in but what's coming out does not jive. So, I say what's up with this and post a question hoping to get a sensible answer.

The reason why MGSO is so nice is cause it mixes different mods to get the best possible effect, but if you want to test a bunch of different mods, just take your game folder and copy it somewhere, then get a new clean slate and start testing. I use MGSO as a base to work off of, but i do add a lot of my own stuff afterwards.

Where are you guys downloading this from? Really, I can't find it anywhere, and KingPix seems to be MIA. Can anyone upload this to the Nexus or PES until he gets back? I know it's dodgy without his permission, but given that he's left and it's such an awesome mod, I doubt he'd mind that you're keeping it alive.

Sorry for being so rude. You're suggestion is very good advice and as a software product release and regression test coordinator, I'm forgetting myself. As a professional habit I do test with 2 active test einvironments, a currect production mirror and pre-release environment. At work I know what's going on up, down, inside and out but at home without my mainframe and server capabilities and a detailed product design statement thinga are vastly different. I'm lost.
What I have been doing is deleting and reinstalling. Works for now since I haven't loaded any content other MGSO. Been nearly 10-years since I played Morrowind and never with mods. Hope this confusion on my part is worth it.
Thanks for reminding me of good work habits.
Dang, I thought this was a game.

What i was saying is i install the game and MGSO, get that working well, then copy that entire folder to another drive, then start testing new mods, and if i don't like it, i can just copy and paste my original game folder and back to square 1 , i do this for every new mod.

And indeed, thanks to KingPix for his work putting this all together. Hopefully he'll back to continue his compilation one day.

You don't need to merge them together, just unzip the installer out of the first file, launch it, then choose your morrowind directory and it will do the rest automatically.
