Clear the .ini files. The one containing your graphics/GPU settings. Delete it and start a new game, it will generate a new one!

It's called Morrowind.ini and it's in the same folder you installed the game in (where the Morrowind.exe is also).

There's a backup of the original ini (for the GOTY edition) here: http://yacoby.silgrad.com/MW/Tuts/IniTut/IniPopup/StockGOTYini.htm

If you create an morrowind.ini file yourself (or morrowind.txt file and then change it to morrowind.ini) and paste all of that in, you should have the default ini settings again.

Strange though, I thought the game automatically generated a new .ini if you delete the old one. Maybe that's just for Oblivion...

Couple of bugs. (will post screens if you need them)

A couple of the trees float. Yea i should probably have taken screens :D If you go to the boat (near the siltstrider) outside Vivec and look at the tree closest to the boat dock, its floating. Huzzah! And there many more examples in the Bitter Coast region. If you walk to Pelagiad you'll see what im talking about.

Also, whenever i go to Seyda Neen (or near it) i get this error:

"Object reference 'flora_bc_tree_01' missing in master file. Current file "Valit's Bitter Coast Addon.esp". Cell "Bitter Coast Region".

Which doesnt make much sense since other bc_tree_01 tree's load up and work perfectly (i think) and i cant pin down which tree is having the problem. Any ideas?

Do you use windows Vista/7? If so, do you have the game installed within the C:\Program Files folder somewhere? That is known to cause problems.

Last night I finished the Main Quest . . . when I went through the door where you first confront Dagoth Ur, I received this message:

"Meshes\r\XDagothr.NIF" tex not found "textures\tx_dagoth_mask_nrm.dds"

I clicked "Yes to All" and looked at Dagoth Ur . . . everything seemed fine. He had cool a new mask with glowing red eyes. So I'm not sure what mesh couldn't find its texture. The only graphical mods I'm running are from MOSG 1.3.

I started a new game, no mods except MSGO 1.3 . . . in first person, my characer's hands are still the vanilla segmented type. In third person, I have the Better Bodies version.

Any idea what's causing this? My previous game with MSGO didn't have this issue at all.

Sigh. I guess a package of mods this size is naturally guna have some bugs. For some reason i simply cannot enter Ald Redaynia. I could before the package and cant after. Whenever i click the door to enter, it pauses for half a second, then plays the door noise, then Morrowind simply crashes. Ive loaded [everything] up in the CS to see if there is anything screwed up but nothing really seems wrong. Apart from adding noise's and retexturing the skeleten war wizard, nothings different.

Normally i'd just fix bugs myself but no real obvious solution has presented itself.

Could someone else try it out.

OK. I installed the mod, tried to follow the instructions exactly. Never played the game. Now, I "wake up" on the boat, and tell the guy my name. Then he says that he is sure they said we arrived in Morrowind. The guard doesn't come to me, and I can't move. Any ideas? The guard doesn't even enter the boat.

People occasionally have that problem even without any mods installed. Usually if you quit and try to create a new character again it should work the next time.

I kept restarting again and again. However, I just reinstalled better bodies. Apparently it didn't like Morrowind Overhaul's setup. Somehow, the better bodies.esp file went missing. ??? I have modding experience with Oblivion

Question - Can anyone give me a rough estimate on when the mod will be ready and relatively bug-free?

Thanks!

Install Better Bodies plugin over the pack

Bug free? Never. This has quite little bugs. Most of them are for not following 100% of the installation steps. The new installer and auto updater coming with the new mgso will surely help.

Sorry for the lack of replies but I'm a lot busy these days. Thanks.

Hi KingPix!

I bought Morrowind cause of this mod! :)
Would you be able to give me a rough approximation on when the new installer and auto updater are coming?

Thanks and keep up the great work!

KINGPIX => your mesh A_Iron_Skinned.nif (from the mod Detailed and Reflecting Amoro) has lost his gauntlets inside, and so now the NPCs have cuirass in place of the gauntlets >.<

I already removed it from the pack, actually.
I just have to update the release of the armor mod on PES.

Here and there, I've been encountering white grass . . . is this normal?

I think I figured out why my grass sometimes appears white: I have fog disabled. Toggling fog back on fixes the grass color.

I'm starting to experience another issue, and I'm not sure if it's related to this package. Sometimes my mouse pointer isn't able to select anything on screen. I'll be in a dialog window with an NPC and I while I can highlight dialog choices, clicking does nothing. Further, pressing the spacebar (I use the UI enhancement from MCP 2.0) won't exit the dialog. I'm forced to cntrl+alt+delete and kill the Morrowind process and reload a save. Has anyone experienced this?
