Yeah, but I can't find a good daedric retexture.
Later I will check better ;)

You don't have authorization for Darknut's Daedric Retexture?

You talk about the http://elderscrolls.filefront.com/file/Morrowind_Visual_Pack_Combined;56241 ?
daedric preview =>

Have you look at this http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8380 ? (there are Daedric's textures)

If you're still looking for Daedric texture suggestions, I really like http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=5704. Imho these textures fit Morrowind very well, they're dark and realistic looking.

Good suggestion but it's too different from vanilla textures, I doubt King will use it

First I'd like to say that it's a really good idea to have a base big replacer.

Somes suggestions or comments :
1- Maybe cut the mod into 2 mods : 1 for softs (MCP, MGE (XE is better)...) and one for Graphics and Sounds. It'll be easier for the next updates
2- Maybe some ESP can be merged, especially oldest, because they'll not change : book jackets, TLM, ...
3. Make a dir data files/Mits and put there the 2 mits to use with Wrye Mash.

Good work again...

Thank you for your help with this. One additional problem I had was that my Merged_Objects.esp was not created in the Data Files folder so it was not showing up in the launcher. For some reason it was created elsewhere. My solution was to do a search of my whole computer to locate the file and manually move it into the Data Files folder.

Now I am on the AnimKit UI step and am receiving these errors:

Could not open the configuration file. Settings will not be saved this session. (C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\Morrowind AnimKit\AnimKit UI Settings.xml)
Couldn't open the required file. (C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\Data Files\Animation\AnimModList.xml)
Anim Mod environment is not set up.

Here is where I have AnimKit installed: C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\Morrowind AnimKit

Would someone mind replying to this? I'm having the same problems.

Uac has some serious problems if some games/mods are installed in Program files/program filesx86 folders . something like this reads on many install guides

Start by installing Morrowind to a directory that is NOT in Program Files. I use c:/games/Morrowind/. Programs Files is a bad directory for most older games, particularly on newer versions of Windows.

so that would be a good place to start to see if it works

Where do you install them then?

And why does it create problems when it's installed into the place where it's meant to be installed?

I'm really really confused.

You can make your own directory like C:/games/morrowind for example. I have my own partition for all my games like D: and have all my installs in the root folder. In newer windows the User account control starts making problems with you(maybe) because older games are not uac aware for example

King, this looks just amazing. I can't believe how good a game made in 2002 can look. Really, I'm blown away. In the first couple minutes a lot of what you see is dark, so its hard to see the textures, but other than that its great.

Now its even harder to wait for the other half of the project!!!

Is that really VIvec-Velothi Retextured v3 in your video? They look nothing like that in my game

It isn't.
I find VIvec-Velothi Retextured v3 too much dark (don't get me wrong they are beautiful), but the one I included is more friendly with the vanilla Morrowind colors.

Then from what mod is that? As far as I saw it, they are not from Visual Pack either.

I found the link, the one from your modlist credits is broken

http://www.elricm.com/nuke/html/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=viewdownloaddetails&lid=1072 is the link, there is also the less red patch for it.
