[RELz] Morrowind Overhaul - Sounds & Graphics

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 6:09 am

Sorry.

In Exe optimizer, after pressing "patch morrowind" a new small window appears telling me "patch in progress" .. then sadly failing
at processed 372 segments and confirming the fail by showing this rather odd error box, 'access to the path fpu.exe is denied."

- Any Thoughts?

Sister => after a hard research I have found THE mod :D

Those rugs are nice looking but some of them don't quite seem to fit the Morrowind atmosphere.

The mod no doubt looks nice but I feel it ruins the atmosphere of the game I may be a little bias because I don't like to run my game at 20FPS.

Mine runs smooth as butter. Not sure what the FPS is but I haven't had any noticeable performance hits on my system. Of course, from my sig I have a beast of a machine. You WILL need higher specs than required for normal Morrowind to run this. Try also turning down the AA/AF setting in MGE and that might help too.

Yes I agree with you.
Personally I kept only textures which I thought more lore-correct.

Did you test and (if it proved to be a worthy addition) include Better Items II ?
And just my 2 cents: isn't it better if we wait for the update on Vurt's Grazeland Trees II ?
:)

I love Morrowind Mods, and I love to update Morrowind Overhaul.
Every update equals to new awesome mod in addition to the game.
I don't know... I can't describe this thing, but it's totally awesome! :celebration:

Can't wait for the patch! This mod is great!
For my just taste; i rather have a couple of smaller updates with shorter waiting times between the updates, than long waiting times between large updates.

Because "Morrowind 2011" was 'assembled' by only one person in 2-3 month. The authors of the mods includes in this pack were never informed, to credit, it didn't ask for their agreement to incorporate their mod in his mod Morrowind 2011.

Morrowind 2011, doesn't respect the origin spirit of Morrowind (the lore), it's full of bugs.

"Morrowind Overhaul - Sounds & Graphics", has been in creation for several years by tens of people.
They asked the authorization to the modders to include their mods in this pack.
This pack respects the original environment of Morrowind (the lore).
One can personalize the installation of this pack.
It's updated at each bugs/ mods updates detected.

Well I don't think anything is going to play Morrwind perfectly smoothly 100 percent, it's an old game its going to have its hitches sometimes.

It's annoying me a little though because I've managed to get things smooth with everything turned on except SSAO. (Which I really love) Wish I could just find a way...

Noticing one extremely minor bug - holding down and rotating the 3rd person view while using a light source(lantern, to be specific although I assume same with other light objects) while moving crashes my game, every time. I can easily avoid doing this of course, but just thought I should note it here.

Looks incredible. Too bad my computer runs rough enough in some spots as it is. Damn you integrated graphics.

Hey guys, just discovered this little mod called http://www.elricm.com/nuke/html/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=viewdownloaddetails&lid=1556 that well, does what it says - adds a chance to see meteors in the sky. Have not tested it myself but you might want to take a look at it.
