here you can find the features of the update:
http://morrowindoverhaul.net/blog/?page_id=9

He is waiting for Fileplanet to give him his link.

But Kingpix, are you sure that the upload worked? The day you uploaded PES (and Fileplanet too?) was down for almost 6 hours, almost immediatly after you said that you finished. Perhaps the upload got lost?

It would be great if Kingpix can also upload the patch to another file server, like megaupload.
Looking forward!

I eagerly await the patch upload :P

I really appreciate your work here, it saves me the annoyance of downloading tons of individual mods and testing their compatibility and such!
It's good that the pricks in the modding community seem to be leaving you alone, unlike what they've done to some other packs :\

it was only a matter of beeing nice :D kingpix asked permission for every single mod befor releasing, and posted a link when he didn't have the permission. he had the same troubles one and a half year ago, but he didn't give up, he did the things properly, and the response was good :) the community is neither against compilation nor single persons, the community wants only to be respected :) it's not hard, and it costs 0$, it's only a matter of form :)

Meh. The community has no right to abuse somebody for simply including their mod in a compilation. Morally or legally.

It just makes it more annoying for people that simply want to play the game :\

Please DO NOT discuss about that in this thread, thanks.

And finally here it is, the patch 1.1! http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8987

-=IMPORTANT=-

if you get an error with mgsoo, it's due to 2 typo pix made, here's the fix
go in the mgsoo folder
go in the options folder
locate the MGE_MO folder and remove the "read only" flag from it
copy/paste the MGE_MO folder to the same place (\morrowind\mgsoo\options)
rename it MGE_NO

there you go! ;)

OMG That svckS!
No, it isn't a typo, but an error with the mgsoo program... Damn, ok I have to re upload it, sorry for the inconvenience.

EDIT: Strange, here all is working nicely...

I'm assuming you're referring to this error: http://imgur.com/C1IM5

Perhaps you should upload it to megaupload or some other source first so we can download it right away and ensure there isn't something else broken? :P

there's a typo somewhere :P mgsoo searches for MGE_NO, but if you rename the folder, then it searches for MGE_MO :P

btw why is it installing MGE rev 178 even if i choose 186? :D

edit: btw the PES link is working, i got it from there ;)

Nah I probably forgot the MGE_NO folder -.- Just create an empty folder called MGE_NO in MGSOO\Options folder... it'll work. DAMN! :D tomorrow a "patched patch", lol kinda hilarious.

@tumore: That's correct: MGEGui is always the same, only the dll changes

So what is normally in that folder, just some files for No MGE mode?

EDIT: Gah! After adding the blank folder I now get the error: "Access to the path 'C:\Games\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\mge3\Polish.lng' is denied.

Run as admin too :\

Okay, I just unchecked "read only" on the Polish.lng and that fixed that error. Guh.

the download was suspended due to the bug mentioned above, but will be reuploaded as soon as possible the fixed version ;) don't worry :D

edit: yeah that's a problem with mgsoo, it cannot handle read only things, but things keep beeing read only -.- dunno even why -.-
may one day everything will work proprerly and instantly and we will laugh to these errors ;)

the installer needs scrollbars. Installed your overhaul on my notebook and i can barely manged to press the "Apply" button

Some things i noticed:
I wouldn't check some too extreme features by default (for example Vurt's Ashland trees and grass)
Some of the features need an extended description inside the installer. For example i didn't dare to use the magic sorting icons, because i don't know if they replace the icons or just rename stuff. I wouldn't want to change the icons, because i'm used to them and it would distract me too much to get accustomed to the new ones

€: Applying gives me an error:
Part of the path
C:\Games\Morrowind\MGSOO\Options\MGE_NO\ couldn't be found

Everything worked fine until I was going to start MGE. Then it says " MGE has stopped working".
What can I have done wrong?
