The filename is too big for the buffer.
Extract the installation data folder to the root of your hd, for example: C:\Installation Data.
And then simply run the installer

I've encountered a glitch when using ambient occlusion.
Whenever I enter an Interior the shadows last shown on the screen stick and gets frozen on the screen, and they remain until I go outside again.
any idea whats causing it?

Edit: Nevermind, solved it by unchecking "disable distant land in interiors" =)

This worked. Turns out the 1.1 from FP doesn't have it, haha. Works just fine now.

Yes, worked for me too :)

One more issue though, the green bushes (and some trees with the same type of leaves) on the image below has been flickering a lot for me. Not really a big deal but it kinda takes away from the otherwise excellent immersion. I believe this may be related to the "Playable Depth of Field"-shader since the flicker usually stops while I focus on a particular bush/tree. Any known fixes? Recreating distant land doesn't help.

Patch 1.2 has a lot of neat stuff (the sound effects problem has been fixed, although I switched to software mode, so I'm not sure what the actual fix is). Excellent job and thanks a lot, Kingpix! :goodjob:

However, I'm having problems with CTDs as soon as I load my save. Found the problem, it was related to MWE and not MGSO, keep up the good work!

I think I've also had my FPS randomly drop dramatically in the menus at some point, it had something to do with the version of MGE I was using. Not sure which one exactly, but it was one of the last few revisions of normal MGE.

Luckily MGE XE is working flawlessly for me, offering better performance and visuals at the same time.

hi any helpful people,
i am experiencing a problem with installing the MGEgui program. When i click on it to install, all that happens is a box pops up saying 'MGEgui has stopped working, windows is checking for a solution to the problem' and then it closes.
This is really frustrating and I'm not sure what to do!

Help is greatly appreciated

It's an issue of the SSAO shader, you could disable it outdoor.
To do so:
- Open MGE
- Go to Tools-> Shader Editor
- Click on the Open (folder) icon
- Choose "Data Files\Shaders\default\2 Ambient Occlusion (SSAO).fx"
- Click on Edit Shader Flags
- Check "Disabled in exteriors"
- Save the shader and quit.

Lookin' good again there, sir. I haven't had a problem with this yet, but it's awesome to see you helping out those who have so readily.

I am anxiously awaiting the next patch, and also any news on the other compilation for gameplay. Exciting events in Morrowind modding I should say.

I, too, am eager to hear an update on the gameplay mod, if there is any update to give.

also, if it helps, i tried using an older version of MGEgui and it opened, and seemed to do similar things to the 3.8.2.version but it stuffed up when i get to creating distant land, so i'm not sure if i could use it

Mournhold Overhaul should be removed from this pack, in my opinion. It is buggy, has big problems with Godsreach, where some doors disappeared, all NPCs are gone, instead Salas Valor rose from the dead and I had to kill him second time. Also white whirlwinds during ashstorms look disgusting.

edit: just found that it was removed in the patch 1.2. Thanks for your work!

Good day! This mod has been absolutely fantastic, the amount of detail put into it astounds me. Thanks to you and all the modders who invested time and effort! I have had one issue, however, related to other mods, and I was wondering if I might ask for some advice as to resolving it. It isn't a game-breaking issue, but nonetheless:

Not long ago I successfully installed Morrowind Overhaul Sounds & Graphics, along with all of its associated plugins. Everything works fine in regards to it, but some time after, when I installed Morrowind Comes Alive and the Tamriel Rebuilt maps, I began to notice the missing texture indicators more often than I would expect. This is mostly associated with TR (lots of hair, tapestries, and sometimes clothing displaying the exclamation mark), but several MCA hairs and equipment pieces have also shown the problem. This seems like it would make sense if I had installed MOSG after the other two, but none of the textures were missing from the installation that I am aware of, so it is a bit puzzling.

Furthermore, the problem has extended to spells as well. I don't know how many spell textures are missing, but I noticed the Shield spell encasing me in a large exclamation sign, and I'm not certain what missing textures could be affecting this. I think the issue may be that the textures added in the two latter mods simply do not correspond with the myriad of modifications made by MOSG, in which case, would re-installing MOSG help the issue?

Many thanks again.

If you are using MCA 6.1, its readme states it requires Westley's Master Headpack, which isn't included in this overhaul.

Make sure on TR you have registered the BSA file that comes with it...
