[BETA] Morrowind Patch Project v1.6.4 Beta

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 5:07 am

I fixed what was reported, and what I ran across myself, but I didn't actively go and seek out floating objects. If you find any after the official release, post 'em! ^_^

---

:snoring: I'm definately taking a break from bugfixing after this release. Don't expect any casual updates till at least next year. ^_^

That is probably an understatement, but I don't know if words can suffice in this case anyways

More than that, you deserve some hibernation time. But don't forget to actually play Morrowind with the mod installed - nothing beats actually using the fruit of your labour. I can hardly wait!!!!!

Unfortunately, unofficial patches are one of the few mods that you don't really notice while playing. :P

and yet, that is a good thing. I will most certainly notice some of the difference. -45 weight off Adamantium ore, -360 enchant off bonemould bow, and no more weightless items. Heck, the removal of 2 sets of exquisite rings, and the cursed item scripts will be most welcome. I will actually be able to advance in some guilds with their new favourite attributes. I have a new char all lined up.

Edit: Front page has been updated, I got some credit w00t. Cmon, just one more day to wait....

I hear ya, I started a new character last week but have put off doing anything because I heard how close this was to being done.

So it's too late to also fix the errors http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Brown_Book_of_3E_426? The Mouths are all wrong.

Wow, it's approved already? Who knew? ^_^

Looks like I need to start a new thread.

I guess I didn't fix the wrong text in the Brown Book, however I did fix the error in the script where it would crash the game if activated twice, and also fixed it so it would work on equip as well as from activation. Looks like something for the Morrowind Patch Add-on, eventually. ^_^

@quorn
Just to double check - the following assets were removed:
Folder ...\Icons\m\
misc_candle_blue_01.dds
misc_candle_green_01.dds
misc_candle_ivory_01.dds

Looks like UMP added these, but the misc items to which they were assigned had no placement in the game world.

Folder ...\Meshes\f\
Terrain_rock_AI_12.nif

This was a collision fix you added for v1.6.3.9 beta - has this been removed since Nich is working on a http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=963265 for rock meshes?

I don't see my fixes for:
...Meshes\f\Furn_Com_Table_05.nif
...Meshes\i\In_C_plain_r_cwin_bay_01.nif
Here's the http://www.liquidanvil.com/mw/tetchy_mwmeshesfix.7z if you still wish to include them - I restructured the archive with the appropriate folder paths and also put in a simple readme.

The documentation is missing the positioning fix for the four floating crates next to Balmora, Eight Plates reported by gemigon. I can verify their positions are fixed - here's the http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=946462&st=112#.

You must be delighted that this has finally come to fruition and you have a release candidate available at long last. Congrats! :celebrate:

I plan to make sure to include this not only for play-thrus but also mucking about in the CS - it will see heavy use. ;)
