So that if you get caught stealing them, the fine is non-trivial (at least for a starting character)

That works for me. ^_^

Hi there Quorn, first of all thank-you for all your work on this!

I found fix you may want to add for the Miner's Pick shadows displaying as an axe shadow on ElricM by Daduke.
For some reason I can't link directly too it, so you'll have tosearch for Daduke as the author name and scroll down til you see it. :P

Thanks! I don't know if I'll include this in the official release, many of the axes' don't match the shadows.

Here is a site that lists what they consiider 'bugfixes'. I would not agree with all of their decisions, but there are two mods that should at least be considered, if they are not already obsoleted by the work done.

Here is the site that lists the mods:
http://www.yacoby.net/es/forum/12/7947151199710080.html

Tweaks the shrine entries to tell you what they actually said
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=992

Max's Quest Fixes Mod v1.0
In particular: The patchwork Airship bugfix

The shrine text plug-in is good, but it's a preference, I could add it if there's demand, but it won't be in the official release. The Airship bugfix is addressed by the original UMP.

almost official!

It's good to get rid of all those silly names now (UUMP UUUMP or whatever else) and have one, definite, one and only UMP again. :P

I see. I don't know if it's actually goint to be called that from now on, but I still prefer UMP for consistency with the older versions.

I was going to name it the Big Unofficial Morrowind Patch (BUMP), since the patch is larger than the Tribunal master file.

Nobody will ever find a mod shortened as BUMP on these forums with the search function :P

Recently I've noticed that when NPCs start fighting with me they first cast an illusion spell on themselves (well, some spell that momentarily engulfs them in a little green cloud). I was wondering if this might be a side effect of the UUMPP? Is there any way for me to find out what spell they are casting? Apologies if I'm mistaken.

Not sure, what plug-ins are you running? Kind of sounds like they are casting a sanctuary spell, is it every NPC? If you're using a plug-in that lets races use their powers, every Dunmer would cast sanctuary at the start of combat.

Indeed, it seems like it is Knef's "Power to the People" that allows NPCs to use their racial powers. I hadn't really noticed it before, but it was one of the only few changes I'd made recently. Sorry for the derail.

I notice that you have given the Bug Lamps some weight.

However I couldn't find any reference to the weightless corpsemeat was it left out intentionally or am I missing something?

bonemold long bow, enchantment: "400" -> "40"

Nooz, you nerfed my super longbow! :)

There are also numerous gameplay changes ,like the glass arrow weight reduction and such - are you merging some other fixes that are not jet mentioned in the 1st post? Or just doing them as you find them?

Hi,

First of all well done for all the work in making Morrowind bug free. Just wanted to point out that i think there's a problem with the latest release and the Firemoth official plugin. I started a new game with the patch installed on a clean copy of Morrowind GOTY and after finishing the introduction went to speak to Sellus and didn't get the Firemoth speech just the normal speech options you get first time you meet him. I tried again both without the patch and with the 1.6.3 patch and it worked fine.

Thanks

I must've missed that corprus chunk. How much should it weigh?

The arrow change was part of the original UMP, it's listed in the Weapon object list in this thread. I am skeptical about a lighter arrow doing more damage, but it was a popular fix and it's consistent with the rest of the glass weaponry.

Most of the changes to equipment are to make the sets consistent in-game. A lot of the errors are decimal errors, other errors seem to be template errors, or from two devs working with different statistics, timeframes, etc.
