How about CM? Complete Morrowind

Short, and lovely. By some weird coincidence it's the same short for my nickname. C_Mireneye, also CM...

O_O That is so weird!

I think it should just be Unofficial Morrowind Patch, just as there is the Unofficial Oblivion Patch, and most people refer to it that way anyway.

Yes! very true. It was not meant as a serious suggestion. Sry. To further disapprove my own fun suggestion there is also CM=Cutthroat Mods.

I agree. I don't see why we should name it otherwise, since it is the continuation of ThePal's work and the name is not copyrighted anyway. After all quorn gives credit to ThePal's original work in his readme.

The actual file is just called 'Morrowind Patch v1.6.4'

The only reason I'm hesitant about naming this the UMP is that the last Unofficial Morrowind Patch is already widely distributed, and I don't offer any support for the previous versions.

The last of the notes are being compiled. Tomorrow I'll begin making arrangements for distribution. ^_^

DMP - Definitive Morrowind Patch
CMP - Comprehensive Morrowind Patch
UMP - Unofficial morrowind patch
UPM - Unofficial Patch for Morrowind
MUP - Morrowind Unofficial Patch
MPC - Morrowind Patch Compilation
MPP - Morrowind Patch Project
UCP - Unofficial Community Patch
PM - Patched Morrowind
FC - Fix Compilation

:) I can keep going if you want.

Personally, I like MPP, UPM, and UCP. :P

How about: "The Recent Unofficial Morrowind Patch"

TRUMP

Because the highest version would trump the others.

How about QUMP or QUOMP (Quorn's UnOfficial Morrowind Patch).

Quorn worked very hard on it and his name should be in the title.

Hi,

First of all well done for all the work in making Morrowind bug free. Just wanted to point out that i think there's a problem with the latest release and the Firemoth official plugin. I started a new game with the patch installed on a clean copy of Morrowind GOTY and after finishing the introduction went to speak to Sellus and didn't get the Firemoth speech just the normal speech options you get first time you meet him. I tried again both without the patch and with the 1.6.3 patch and it worked fine.

Thanks

I fixed this issue, the Firemoth plug-in did work, but only after you report to Caius Cosades. Now it will work anytime as intended. ^_^

I've finished all the end work, just need to update the first post and send the project out for distribution to the various modding sites. ^_^

I'll start a new thread once it's available to the public.

Congratulations, quorn. It's been an immense undertaking, I can tell, and you can be sure we all appreciate it greatly. I just wanted to add that I've found a mod on PES that corrects a bug for which I don't see a mention on the changelog, nor in the bugfix thread. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7124. Hope it helps.

I'm pretty sure that bug has been fixed, I remember fixing the dialogue choice...I think.

---

I'm just touching up the readme file, the patch will be distributed this afternoon. Depending on the sites, it could be released as early as this evening. ^_^

How compatible will this be with the big mods like Julan, Tameriel Rebuilt, Wizard Island, and the like? Just asking because this effects a lot and could cause lots of problems.

I don't see how it would conflict with TR or WI. There's no way this could touch anything there and generic across-the-board bugfixes shouldn't really conflict with anything but other bugfixes that try fixing the same things.

So the patch project fixes floating items or doors revealing the grey/black abyss of the CS (among a myriad of other things obviously)?
