[REQ] Morrowind Pictures

Post » Tue Sep 25, 2012 5:58 am

Long time since I have posted here. I am building a town in the back end of Skyrim, where people of all races can settle without prejudice. As you all know much of Morrowind was destroyed when the Red Mountain blew. Refugees from Morrowind went into Skyrim where they are treated very badly.

In my little town there is an old Dunmer refugee. He writes his tale of survival and how he misses his homeland and is concerned for the fate of his people. In his little house I would like to really get across his origins and his sadness. So in order to do that I would really like paintings of his homeland, it's architecture and his people.

I have searched google and not really found pictures I would like, and also I am not sure if I am using images that it is okay to use.

As I no longer have Morrowind installed (am planning to go back at some point though), I would really appreciate it if someone would please take some screenshots for me and my little old Dunmer. I am hoping for six pictures that I can convert to paintings. I really want...

*Architecture (a picture of a house) Maybe one of a house in Balmora, one of a house in Vos)

*Landscape (some lovely Morrowind landscape)

*A picture of a silt strider

*A Dunmer, maybe a female as his wife.

Like I said I have searched google, however most pics are not closeups, they are overviews.

Thanks!

Just a thought, you could ask some http://tes-fans.deviantart.com/gallery/ if you can feature their work in your mod.

If you're looking for screens, you can try the http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1370505-screenshot-thread-no-132/. I doubt it'd be a problem in most cases, but you can always ask the poster of the screens. You're free to use the screen I posted if it suits. I thought it'd be nice to try to make into a painting myself, but I don't have much experience doing that kind of graphics work.

On a related note, how vanilla/modded do you want the screens? I'm guessing if you're going to paint them, that doesn't matter too much though.

I'd definitely recommend Lelek's work. His artwork for the Elder Scrolls is insanely good and from some of the comments he's replied to, he seems like he might give you permission granted that you ask him first.
