Morrowind question

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 10:03 pm

I have the game on PC, but the disc is old, beat up, scratched, and probably useless, I haven't played for years but I might pick up a new version of it reading some of the posts in here. I never really got into the game and never beat the main quest line, my highest level character was a level 16 orc and i didn't do anything with him really. I kind of want to get the game and actually play through the game since I have no idea what the story line or anything like that, I know the graphics are bad but a mod can fix that, but is there any other mods i may meed before i get the game or should it be okay cuz i want to actually beat this game and i hear exploring the game is really fun and interesting

I'd recommend the Morrowind Overhaul Project, or MGSO. You can find more information about it here http://morrowindoverhaul.rpgitalia.net/

It does a lot of graphical updates, but doesn't really alter gameplay or the world at all. I highly recommend it.

I will probably get it tomorrow or something, I completely overlooked it after all these years cuz I was younger and the game was too difficult lol, and because I had no clue what to do

That is the exact reason why I hated morrowind for years was BC when I played it I was so used to ff rpgs that I didnt understand the mechanics of the game. Now that I have more of an understanding...I am being blown away by the game and cannot literally put it down.

Morrowind Patch Project replaces the old Unofficial Patch (with quite literally thousands of mostly minor fixes and adjustments). Morrowind Code Patch fixes many problems with the engine that couldn't be fixed until lately (highly configurable, I run about half of the "fixes", others I prefer the way they were).
