Damn Bethesda and their hype trains
I learned my lesson with Oblivion. I collected every scrap of news on the game from the time it was announced in 2004 to the last days before Oblivion was released. I anolyzed every bit of info for possible hidden clues. I got way too excited about the whole thing. And, of course, when the game was released I was
massively disappointed.
This time I ignored practically everything about Skyrim. I didn't watch any trailers, looked at almost no screenshots, didn't read any interviews, rarely even visited the Skyrim forum. I wouldn't be surprised if I knew less about Skyrim than anybody on these forums. And this time I was not disappointed.
