Morrowind in Skyrim

The vampire clans will probably still be alive, but may have gone feral from a lack of food.
They are feral. Especially the Quarra, which is more savage than the Berne or the Aundae. Either they have tried to migrate or they went deep underground to hibernate in a deep sleep as they were speculated to have done once.

But what is the longevity of the Dumner? She maybe fled when the Red Mountain erupted and keeps feeling she belongs to the Telvanni, or was raised by Telvanni and her familiar inheritance includes that feeling.

To answer this question. The way she speaks says she has just recently left Morrowind and house Telvanni and went to the College to train in magic as she couldn't handle the pressure her house put on her. Makes her a bit of a weakling if you ask me, but regardless. She also looks young, has no real magical talent (yet) and let's be honest the journey from Morrowind to Winterhold will never take you a 194 years.

Does she actually say she's a member of house telvanni, or is that just concluded based on her last name? I honestly can't recall her mentioning House Telvanni.

Quotes would be appreciated.

No, I remember her saying she was a part of the house, and left to the college of Winterhold, because she was being pressured.

In order:

-It is heavily implied that Indoril and Redoran are gone, as is the likely case for Telvanni and Dres, being the former Super-Slave Trader House.

-Solstheim was given to the Dunmer as a new home, and is supposedly the only part of Morrowind that is a part of the Empire.

sources? i know what happened to indoril, but not redoran.

I wouldn't say All life died on Vvardenfell - Those creatures and plants seem to be pretty hardy. While there was a lot of destruction, it would be difficult to believe all life has died out, due to a lack of precedent of such occurring in our own world in the face of similar catastrophe (Aside from purely speculative events)

It doesn't seem to be as catastrophic as the real-life eruption of Krakatoa in the late 1800's - and some life managed to survive even that.

The flora and fauna of the Ashlands would certainly thrive. But as long as Vvardenfell remains a steaming lava vent (see scathing bay), the greener bits of Vvardenfell are toast.

However, when that ends, Red Mountain will likely become green again.

Athis, a Dunmeri emigrant in the Companions, says 'we're all Ashlanders now.'

The Ashlands being Solstheim.

Yes, she does. In addition, there http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Milar_Maryon http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Felen_Maryon http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Irna_Maryon with the surname Maryon in TES III.

Honestly, it sounds like either the fan outcry or miscommunication between author and dev team has resulted in that news of the severity of Morrowinds plight being woefully exagerated. There are plenty of Dunmer refugees in Skyrim, and Vardenfell does seem to have gone boom and the South attacked, but generally I got the feeling that for the most part its business as usual again for a lot of mainland Morrowind.

If you play a Dunmer in Skyrim it literally is the exact opposite.
