OK sorry to make this a topic,but i need to know why this is:
I bought morrowind a few months ago.At the time i owned an xbox 360 elite.
Anyway i put the game in and there was an update...no problem.
Since then my xbox died and i've bought a new one ( the 250GB slimline 360 )
I did not transfer data etc,i wanted to start from scratch.
Anyway i put morrowind in and i did not get an update/patch for the game,i've tried a number of times but still no update.
The game still works,but i wanted to know why this is happeneing or if similar people have had this problem with the new 360.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The new version obviously comes with the update installed.

Just to clarify, the update has nothing to do with Morrowind itself. It's an update that is needed to play most original-XBox games on the 360.
