Morrowind - Things You Still Haven't Done

Post » Wed Sep 23, 2009 4:03 pm

I still haven't found a full suit of Daedric armor yet. I don't want to look up the armor locations, because that would ruin the sense of accomplishment.

I know how you feel, searching for items is one of the best things about Morrowind!

I've beaten all of the mainquests, faction quests, side quests of Morrowind (I went through the official guide :D) - on xbox

Then afterwards I tried out a bunch of the little things, collecting all books, moving creeper to my stronghold, building a pillow fort, etc.

Lots of misc. little things.

So far I've yet to:

Complete the thieves guild,
Side with Carnius Magius in the Raven Rock questline,
Complete the Bloodmoon main quest using the werewolf path
Complete the Morrowind main quest using the back path
Join house Redoran,
Get a complete set of Daedric. I'm not killing Divayth Fyr. I got close but somewhere along the lines I lost my daedric grieves :(
Finish any of the vampire questlines,
Explore every dungeon.

I can't think of anything else :)

Been playing since -03 and there alot of things I still haven't done, for instance

I've never played the Telvanni Questline
I've never finished the Imperial Cult
I've never made a character that I'm completely happy with, one that I feel I could carry over to the next Elder Scrolls game and the next and the next etc.
I've never made it past Balmora in the Thieves Guild
I've never finished the Bloodmoon MQ, nor any of the other major questlines on Solstheim
I've never been a Werewolf either
I've never taken the Dark Brotherhood questline in Tribunal further than making them stop attacking me
I've never joined a vampire clan (became a vampire once, but thanks to some mod I didn't belong to clan which made all other vampires attack me)

I've never killed Fargoth.

Haven't enjoyed doing the Ald Daedroth shrine quest without the CTD when the magic fighting starts in the Inner Shrine.

There's not much of a point to killing Fargoth. He's easy to enough to avoid if someone doesn't like him.

I have never done the Imperial Cult or the Imperial Legion. I have never become a werewolf. And I have not joined 2 of the vampire clans (I forget which ones, been a while since I played a vamp).
And I have never joined House Rederon.

This made me realize, after the 300+ hours spent on playing the game, I haven't finished anything. I got half way through the Main Quest. Meeting some people in a mountian or something like that.
I finally got it to run on my laptop (windows 7) and had installed mods on it. So hopefully I will be able to finish things this time around.

Same thing goes for Oblivion, main quest but actually finshed the Dark Brotherhood quests, and that's it. Same can go for Daggerfall and Arena as well. So much time playing and restarting, never finishing anything and that is over a 1000+ for all of them. :D

By Almsivi, you're a heretic! Once I get my Archcanonship back I will expel you!

...

...

(I Recalled back to Ald'Ruhn and went on walking from there. To this day I've begged Almalexia to forgive me as I never did this supercleanly either. :()

Yeah, never been a real werewolf (nor completed the BM MQ that way), never completed Imperial Legion, never completely finished the Fighters Guild, never killed anyone in all Seyda Neen except Folvyn for once because I wanted to finish the quest - and that hurt!

Played as anything but a melee fighter for more than 3 hours.

Seriously.

The few times I tried mage, I was deterred by how detached I felt - I had the same problem with Oblivion, I guess. Getting up close to the battle... that's how I roll.

And I've never been a thief, because that's boring :P I actually only completed the Main Quests of the Expansions last year, despite having them for 5 years. And I completed Oblivion's Main Quest last week, but still need to do Shivering Isles.

When Skyrim comes, I'll be overloaded :P

Also, never seen those NPC Imperial archers fighting one-on-one. Never put pillows under Vivec to make his sitting position more comfortable. Nor never have I sold a Daedric Twer Shield with CE Paralysis to a merchant who then equips it... These have been on my to-do list ever since I heard about them recently in these forums. *sigh* So much to do, so little time! I wonder, could you talk to an NPC that has paralyzed itself like this? Maybe I just have to find out myself!

I never made the most out of being a werewolf in the Bloodmoon expansion, sorry if that spoils it for anyone who hasn't played Bloodmoon yet. I never really spent that much time in Solstheim. I'm so happy it's backward compatible now. One question, to any who will answer, and I apologise in advance for going off topic here, but the original backwards compatible thread is locked now. But, when it became backward compatible, you had to download an update. What I want to know is, how come, even though I've never connected my 360 to the internet, did it still know that Morrowind could be played, because no update was installed, and it just started playing the GOTY edition. I'm confused, but profoundly happy.

I have, sadly, never finished any of the 3 Main quests(Gotten close on Tribunal and Original, not even close for bloodmoon)(Oh, I did knock whatshisname into the lava by the Heart of Lorkhan though. Stumbled upon his place by accident and forced my way in. Sadly, he never died from the lava)

I've never done ANY of the Main house quest lines. I'm about to remedy that with my thief, joined up with Hlaalu.

Have never done any Fighter Guilds Quest

Never done any Temple quests, or Imperial Cult Quests

Never done the Imperial Legion quests

Some Unique Items/Artifacts that I haven't found.

Plenty of random Dungeons/Daedric Shrines I've never found.

I've been a Vampire, but never did any of the quests.

Never been a werewolf.

Never found this Super Dungeon that I've read about that has a shipwreck inside it.

Have only done a few of the Daedra Quests.

Have never explored the northen parts of Solthsiem.

Plenty of other stuff I've never done, and I've had the game since release day, collectors edition pre-ordered.

Edit: Oh yeah, never done the Morag Tong questline(giong to with my thief though)

Have never played another race in any TES game beyond Dunmer.

A testament to the fact that, even with ALL that to do, Morrowind still has enough in it to entertain for years. Bethesda rock the planet in so many ways.
