Post » Fri May 04, 2012 2:35 am

This would be awesome..being able to play morrowind with updated graphics, animations, and combat. I would love to play it on ps3. I know it was released on Xbox. What do you guys think of a morrowind 10th yer anniversary edition?

I doubt it but it would be cool. I'm not sure if the Morrowind fans would be happy with a remake especially with Todd going the more action RPG route with TES.

I had never heard of Elder Scrolls before Oblivion. I would love this so I could experience Morrowind. I also need to play Arena and Daggerfall.

They're free to download from the Elder Scrolls website.

Edit: Arena and Daggerfall, to be specific.

They wont. It would be too much work/money to bring it to consoles.

Besides all the Skyrim noobs would say, "Dis gam iz stoopid y no dragonz or cumpas?

An updated TESIII (maybe done with the CE?) would be nice for consolites.

Not very useful for PCs, though...

Speaking of which, is there a way to remove the compass on consoles without reducing the opacity of the entire HUD?

That would be really cool, but probably too much work for it to be a realistic possibility.

Unfortunately, no.

Wouldn't pay for it. Give me a new game, not a remake of a game that's a decade old.

If you have a 360, the original Xbox version of Morrowind is backwards compatible. It doesn't run very well with whatever emulation software they used, but it still works. Sadly, I lost my Morrowind GOTY for Xbox a few months ago. I had a blast replaying it on my roommate's 360 right before Skyrim was released.

Take a piece of cardboard and tape it to the top of your TV so it hangs over the compass.

It would be cool, but it's a bit too late for that. Maybe a Morrowind 15th Anniversary? Hopefully a year or so after TES VI comes out and Bethesda get out of the road to [censored] ville.
