Hey guys! Sorry about another one of these threads, but a lot of other's I've found don't answer all the questions I have.
I'm looking at buying Morrowind and the hardware seems to be the issue for me. My first ES game was Skyrim. I think I had the same experience as the majority of people: With my first playthrough I was bewildered with the depth of it all and just how large the game world was. However, after my second i soon realised I had already done everything. It became boring and repetitive and I soon realised I'd bought an "RPG/Action game". I was looking for something that was more in depth in both story writing and gameplay. I found a second hand copy of Oblivion and I think by now I've racked up more hours on that than Skyrim . I didn't find the transition all that jarring graphics wise so I think I'll be able to handle an unmodded Morrowind.
The real issue is: Will I be able to play it on my platform? I would much rather play it on PC than console, but all I've got is an old laptop. Seeing as the graphics are somewhat outdated I thought this might limit the problems I'd encounter... But is it possible to play on an old 2009 model laptop? I've also heard that it was never released for Sony, is Playstation3 out of the question?
I've only heard good things about Morrowind from everyone on the forum and I'm itching to play something that properly combines TES Lore and roleplaying; Something I don't think I've properly experienced on the later two titles. It's over a decade old and it's still getting love for god's sake!
Any feedback is welclome, thanks guys!
