[RELz]/[WiP] Mort's Mountain Citadels

Post » Sat Dec 10, 2011 9:43 am

From the readme:
This mod sets out to complete the series of dungeons that Darknut began. Greater Dwemer Ruins volume 1 greatly enhanced three main storyline areas, making them much more unforgiving while providing a really cool dungeon crawl at the same time. I'm trying to do this for Endusal, Kagrenac's Study. It's a fairly basic release so far showcasing my passion (hatred) for interior building, cluttering, and encounter design / scripting. It's not TOO difficult, nor too long. You shouldn't have much trouble at higher levels. Assuming you have GDR installed, this should feel like an introduction to those much deeper levels. As time progresses I'm going to continue to expand on it with the other two citadels and keep building onto Endusal, so stay tooned.

So right now it only touches Endusal, fleshing out what I would imagine Endusal to be (part of Kagrenac's house essentially). I haven't touched exteriors, as I'm waiting for that Red Mountain overhaul before I mess with it (I'd love to make it compatible). Next up is continuing Endusal, and Tureynulal, Kagrenac's Library

Can't remember if I included it in the GDR resource pack that I released when the original mod fell apart, but I have the esp of what I did for GDR. I made a small increase to the size of Aleft (water processing plant), and a great big massive interior city/airhsip harbour. It was to be linked to one of the ruins (eventually) in Red Mountain.

If you or anyone else wants it, just let me know.

This sounds like a neat idea for a mod Mortimer, I like creative overhauls. No matter how small they may be right now.

And PL, I would definitely be interested in getting a copy of that mod!

PL definitely send me the file if you come across it.

With your permission I'll more assuredly include it.

Also, I'm very very sorry to both of you who downloaded it immediately, I just release my 1.1 which includes a few things I was on the fence about, and one pretty cool aspect.

Turns out Dagoth Endus has cut dialogue where he offers dagoth brandy and then the first blow, but his fight was set to 90, so you could never see it unless you were sneaking or cast calm on him. I feel like it makes more sense to be able to approach him regardless, so now the dialogue is available to everyone.

GHF is messing up for me, I can't update the description or the version number, but the DL on GHF is 1.1 now.
