Sir Brellin annoys me the most because there isn't something wrong with him(goes against the trend). :P

I chose the Adoring Fan, as he just purely annoyed me(Tarhiel was just hilarious, on the opposite side of the scale; I'm walking along the road and a Bosmer falls out of the sky. What's greater than that?:P). I want Bethesda to stop using the Wood Elves(what they were called before they were jokes) as jokes and fools, though.

It's just the male Bosmer, female Bosmer are BAMF's, just look at Acadian's Char.

Gaenor.

Say, can I have 1 gold? You have that, right? What about 10? What about 100? What about 1,000. Why, you're very nice. How about 10,000. My my, you're very nice. Can you spare 100,000? Wow, 100,000. Can I get 1,000,000? Wow, a million gold! Do you have a full suit of daedric you can offer?

Not to mention the combat

Miss, miss, block, miss, miss, miss, miss, block, miss, miss, miss, miss, miss.

What's so bad about Fargoth? He asked me for a ring I found, I gave it to him, and he convinced his friend at the local store to give me better prices for it.

I don't hold any grudges against Fargoth, regardless of his ring issues or his hiding place.

I've got beef with Gaenor from Tribunal and Maglir from Oblivion. They're both ingrate swines and i'm glad that I killed them.

Sadly, Gaenor has to be the strongest guy in Morrowind, aside from Dagoth Ur, that is.

GAENOR OMFG

Really, sure, have all this cash. When you get to that final spot, even if you have the money for WHATEVER REASON he gets pissed?!?! Ok, heres a million gold, (pulls out 1 mill gold) ok, there. And he gets mad and attacks you, its just... [censored] stupid.

I don't get it either. My theory is that it's because he is the first Bosmer anyone meets in Morrowind, and thus people remember him for the same reason they remember Jiub even though his only role in the game is to wake you up and ask you're name, and since Bosmer are so annoying (It's the voice, I think.) a Bosmer people remember is naturally not pleasant.

But I'd have to say the Adoring Fan, For the other characters, you no longer need to speak with them once you've finished any quests related to them, in some cases, they can even die during their quests, yet the Adoring Fan isn't just annoying, he also follows you, even if he dies, he respanws, Fargoth never did that.

Most annoying: Adoring fan, because he had no other purpose.

Fargoth is only annoying insofar as you probably talk to him at the start of every new game. The part could be played by any other race. He's not really that annoying.

Gaenor is annoying because he can be tough to defeat in combat. The part could be played by any other race. He was a con-artists, a good one too to have enough money to buy a full set of ebony armor.

Tahriel isn't really annoying - he drops good loot.

I think theres more to it than novelty. The reason people remember and love Jiub is that he's pretty much the only Dunmer who isn't a complete jerk to you from the start. I think, similarly, Fargoth is the first person to whine about anything.

Also, he's usually the first NPC you see duckwalk *shiver*

The Adoring Fan doesn't follow you if you tell him to just wait. I always leave him in the Arena. Killing someone just because they're annoying isn't something my characters would do. If I ever find the Adoring Fan's hair stylist they are so dead though.

I agree Fargoth and Tarhiel aren't annoying. Fargoth is actually quite helpful.

The Adoring Fan, I mean by Azura he won't shut his mouth, it's too bad he won't enter the Arena. Now atleast Fargoth stays quiet, Gaenor will leave you be.

Gaenor by far. How anyone who played Tribunal could find Fargoth more annoying than Gaenor is beyond me. Fargoth just gives you a little chuckle and 300 septims. Gaenor raqes your soul. You know how low your morale is when you get swindled out of thousands of septims and then subsequently get your ass handed to you by one of Santa's elves? When I first played Tribunal my character was too weak to beat Gaenor so I had to sprint through the courtyard and take some blows before reaching safety inside the Temple. To get back I would have to cast recall.

Tarhiel seems like a very strange choice. The only way someone could hate him would be if they were a Duke graduate or used the Scrolls of Icarian Flight before saving for the first time.

Glarthir. I seriously have to sneak through Skingrad in the middle of the night whenever I go there now, that is how annoying he is to me.

I think people hate Fargoth because he's probably the first Bosmer they ever heard say this, "I have a feeling you and I are about to become very close."

I agree with the Glarthir vote.

I can ignore the Arena questline with the new characters I create, meaning I can avoid the Adoring Fan. I can't just ignore an entire city though, and whenever I see that annoying mudcrab-sized fetcher running towards me... :banghead:

Wood Elves looked awesome in Daggerfall. What happened? And why aren't the women short as well? That just makes the race even weirder. They can't find the men very... satisfying. I sense a Bosmer/Orc cross-breed coming our way with TES:V. <_<
