So, is it fair to vote now then? Why not hold off until you do have info to make a more informed opinion?

Nothing will ever beat a TES game for me. Sight unseen even. So I obviously voted for Skyrim.

Well, the poll hardly means anything to me, I wont be bothered to look for the link again to cast my vote come the 6th. Right now my most anticipated is Tera, but once I see for myself whether Skyrim is going to be what I hope it will be, then i'll change my mind accordingly :)

Skyrim has tough competition in 2011. I hope it will be RPG of the year. The Witcher 2 will raise the stakes pretty high.

Ugh, threw up a little in my mouth. I made more mouse clicks in the one hour I played that game then several 16hr Photoshop sessions combined. The Witcher has to be one of the worst games I've ever played, 50$ right out the window.

Same. Terrible game, IMO. I have no idea how so many people like it.

Skyrim is 4th! Keep voting!

How is Torchlight II beating Skyrim? What the hell is Torchlight?

I'm honestly surprised about Torchlight. I played that game for like, 2 days before I got sick of it. It was a decent game, but you essentially did the same thing over and over again and all the loot stopped being satisfying quickly because you're constantly picking up powerful artifacts and changing your weapons. Extremely repetitive.
Anyway, of course I voted for Skyrim. The fact that I know so little about it makes me even more curious.
Plenty of amazing games are coming out next year, I honestly think it's going to be one of the best years yet game-wise, but I'm pretty sure Skyrim will own them all.

Stronghold 3 is also coming in 2011. So personally im most looking forward to that, Diablo 3 and Skyrim. Though also Dragon age 2, Dungeon Siege III, Might & Magic Heroes VI.. but most of all, Skyrim and Stronghold 3 :)

'Nother vote for Diablo III.

At least there I know I'll get what I want and expect, with little to no chance of rude surprises.

Seriously. I hadn't even heard of one of the games with more votes.

You haven't heard of Diablo III? Diablo III is like the one game Skyrim could reasonably lose to in that poll.

I did vote for Skyrim of course.

I'll give you a hint:

BOOBS

Also, it was a pretty decent game, with way better story than the one in Oblivion too. :)

In order of priority to buy for next year:

1. TES Skyrim
2. ME3
3. Deus Ex H.R.
4. Dragon Age 2

Suffice to say I voted for Skyrim and I'm sure that when more infomation is released more people will gain interest.

Haha, it let me vote twice. I went to see the results and I was able to vote again. Now it no longer appears as an option, even in IE. (I used FF for the first 2.)

THere is indeed extremely tough competition this year I mean it's crazy so many (likely) awesome games coming out this year.. But yea Torchlight 2 shouldn't be above SKyrim. I actually liked Torchlight, but really, it's nothing more than a diablo clone and everybody knows it, and with diablo 3 coming same year I see no reason for people to get too hyped for torchlight 2 at all.. noone beats blizzard at their own game. I do think Skyrim deserves votes though, even though we don't know anything about it I've just got a feeling bethesda will make my jaw drop when the info drops :)

Nope! Sorry, I'm more interested in Bulletstorm, Bioshock Infinite, Portal 2, Alice: Madness Returns, Kingdom of Alamur: Reckoning, and Hunted: Demon's Forge.

At the moment, I know absolutely zilch about Skyrim, whereas I already have extensive info on the other games I listed.

I did vote for Skyrim of course.

Hehe, when I posted that, Skyrim was 5th - the game I'd never heard of was Torchlight II. And for the record, Diablo III looks great, but it's much less my type of game than TES.

I am anticipating Alice: Madness returns a lot, but Skyrim much, much more. At least we're up to third.

Skyrim....I know from experience Bethesda makes a better RPGs than anyone else. At least for me, you could probably say I'm brand loyal. :D

I second that Statement . :mohawk:
