Post » Fri Apr 08, 2011 3:31 am

1. Pokemon Black and White
2. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
3. Pikmin 3 (whenever it gets officially announced)
4. Portal 2
5. Bioshock Infinite

Skrim's on my "looks pretty cool but I haven't decided yet" list.

Pokemon Black and White, then Skyrim, and thats it. No other games are worth anticipating that I've seen so far.

Skyrim, obviously. However, I'm also ready for Brink, Bulletstorm, Gears of War 3, and that new Deus Ex game looks cool.

My most anticipated game of all time is Morrowind.

Daggerfall is a game I played for about 3 years without looking at any other game, so when I heard a sequel was in the making, I was extremely hyped right away. I would then lurk the forums every day and hunt for developer posts for any info I could find :P

current most anticipated:

1- Skyrim
2- Bioshock Infinite
3- The Witcher 2
4- Dragon Age 2
5- Mass Effect 3

most anticipated in the past:

1- Fallout New Vegas
2- Civilization 5

That's it, only got into gaming within the past couple years after something like a 15-year hiatus since junior high. Really enjoyed FO3, Oblivion, ME2, Bioshock 2, DAO, The Witcher, Civ4, but only discovered these games long after they were already released.

As for my most anticipated game of all time, my first was Red Dead Redemption (I always come late when buying games. Red Dead changed that) then Fallout New Vegas blew that out of the water. I was excited for RDR but I svcked up every bit of info possible about New Vegas. Now I'm not that excited about anything as much as that (except Fallout 4) but I got some things in mind. Like L.A. Noire.

Hunted: The Demon's Forge
Brink
Rage
Guild Wars 2
Tribes Universe
Elder Scrolls V

I don't like EA or their games, so anything by them is a no for me.

I am 27 and have been playing games since the NES days. I can honestly say I have never anticipated a game the way I am for Skyrim. God of War 3 was the closest thing for me, and even that game wasn't close to my excitement for Skyrim.

Its the same for me.The only game I can think of that comes close to my level of anticipation for Skyrim is Final Fantasy 7. Back in the day I was very excited about it and I had lots of friends in high school then that where looking forward to it, unlike now were I don't have anyone to talk to about Skyrim. I am assuming Skyrim will be my new favorite game of all time and now that modding is confirmed I really I have no more doubts about the game.

Guys I'd try a demo before hitting up Two Worlds 2. In my personal experience it was a bit shallow, lacked depth and polish, and generally felt like a substandard indie effort. It had poor art direction, design and an awful generic context and story. I'd certainly try before you buy.

I disagree, It was a good game. The best non Beth open world RPG I have played. I agree it did not have AAA polish but not every company has Bethesdas budget. If you like Open World RPGs give it a try, hell not like there are many to choose from after you finish all the Bethesda ones. Risen and Gothic 3(Enhanced Edition) are the only others I can think of that are reasonably polished, older ones like Gothic 1 & 2 are just too dated.

Ever since I first played Oblivion the only future game I ever really cared about was the next Elder Scrolls. I was excited about Fallout 3, but it wasn't TES:V. I was excited about Dragon Age, but it wasn't TES:V. I'm really looking forward to playing Mass Effect 2 on my PS3 (not long to go now!) but... nothing can compare to how much I am looking forward to that moment when I finally get to play Skyrim. If it got cancelled I would probably have to give up gaming and live in a Zen monastery for the rest of my days.

At this point it's a tie between Dragon Age 2, which I preordered, and Guild Wars 2. I'm looking forward to Skyrim but I can't say that I'm sleepless about it or the other two games I've mentioned. I'm still working through the Trilogy edition and Eye of the North for Guild Wars, because when Guild Wars 2 is released I'll uninstall the first games in the series.

Currently Dead Space 2. I already pre-oredered it for PS3, release date at the shop i ordered it is set at 31., so i'll get it in about 2 weeks. After that, Dragon Age 2 in March. Still a bit unsure about it, but i'm pretty sure it's a release date purchase for me.

Skyrim is still too far away for me to get anxious about it. Ask again in October :D
