I thought there was a real buzz for this? The Gameinformer Hub had a huge number of hits.

It's a list based on a survey of what the largest number of people are looking forward to / intending to buy.

---- plus: people had to vote on games that were on a list that the survey company had set up. Maybe Skyrim wasn't even on the list (because the client feared it would overshadow the other games )

Because "top ??" lists are pointless, they are only there to increase sales and don′t have any relevance to how good a game is, one can make a personal list, but a definite "top ??" list is just stupid and disfunctional.

Skyrim needs more advertising - showing the same pics only gets the hard core fans excited and talking about spears.

Mortal Kombat is actually shaping up to be a great game, unlike MvC3.

The list doesn't feature Portal 2, Skyrim or Deus Ex: Human Revolution, so it can't be taken seriously.

All of those spears and only 1 Lusty Argonian Maid...
