Launching the Skyrim.exe and crossing my fingers, that it doesn't CTD on me or pop an error box on the screen.

Sneaking in a rich NPC house at a low level and finding appropriate loot. Sneaking in a high level dungeon and getting away with valuable loot. My choices causing serious and visible consequences in the world.

- Escape from execution

- Coming out into the world, ie; the moment you come out of the sewers and look out the lake at Vilverin and the mountains, or opening that rusty chain fence and the bright light of the Capital Wasteland burns your eyes

- First tough battle

- Killing first dragon/killing one of toughest dragons/killing Alduin

- Climbing to top of the Throat of the World

- Finding Markath Side

- Jumping off cliff, pushing someone off cliff

- First insane quest, the one where you come out barely alive and still on the run, after leaving it all on the field, ie; The Ultimate Heist or attacking Nelson

Having that nostalgic feeling like I did with my first TES game (Oblivion) and just picking a random direction to travel.

I'm actually just looking forward to seeing the Bethesda Softworks logo pop up and then the main menu screen, it'll just be like "[censored] yes I'm finally about to play it!"

I fear I'll die of a heart attack that exact moment.

I was actually playing Oblivion the other day.. I just got my first 10 hours logged in the game. I went down into a dungeon and heard a noise that stopped me in my tracks where I contemplated turning around and leaving the dungeon.

I later found out it was just some skeleton warrior type monsters, (because I fell through a rusty gate to the bottom floor of the dungeon where I found myself terrified and drawing my sword) but the sound was exactly the same sound that the Giant Dread Spiders from Ultima Online: Mondain's Legacy(1997) make.

I am convinced they like.. licensed the same sounds for these two monsters. It sent a shriek up my spine.

To me my defining moment on my Skyrim adventure will be my first dragon.

I can already imagine it:

Walking through the dense forest or tundra at level 3~5 when I feel a disturbance in the air (and the force :starwars:) followed by a growl. To my surprise I look up and see a Dragon about to eat my face clean off.

What I don't know if how I'll react; will I seek shelter from it the same way I would were it a thunderstorm? Or would I try to kill it at that really low level with my stealth character?

Most anticipated moment?

When my character and I get our first look at the opening dungeon/prison escape.

It is my most anticipated because that's when Epicness starts.

I know man, his fangs are the size of your characters arms and it's all hairy. Not to mention all those legs... WHY DO YOU NEED ALL THOSE LEGS? I can't stand when they go back up and curl into a ball.
