Why on earth do you spell woman as "Woman" with a capital W.

Dude, they mess around in yer kitchen and eat all the food in your fridge.

Believe her name is Lisbet found her nice to look at, and we have the same taste in food.. shame im on console so no chance to marry but she will be mine!!

also liked Maven's daughter.. the alchemist but looks like no option to marry thier either!!

finally took a shine to housecarl of solitude just not got round to marrying the lass yet

I just checked out the Wiki page for marriage, and apparently the amulet of mara is needed to marry some woman, why is this? Does the game ever explain why?

I agree. There is something so sixy about it. It's almost innocent. And that accent...
IS she actually marriable, or do you need to use the console hack. Also, what happens when you marry her? I assume she doesn't set up shop. :-p

I don't want to read through all ten pages so I'm sure she's been mentioned by this point, but the woman at the very beginning of the game as you're getting beheaded is quite attractive. She's the blonde townsperson in Helgen, I'd guess.

May i also add that after trying various followers for decent backup in battle, Eola is completely badass.
Not only does she use light armour and sword (i gave her Dawnbane), she likes to toss fireballs and lightning around, raises dead enemies to throw into the fray, summons fire atronachs and also heals herself when she can.
She is versatile, but honestly Stenvar was a much stronger companion for me. My character is also a mage who does all that stuff with summons and healing, so Sten was a great meat shield; Eola is great support but my character can't handle it on the front lines. This does make combat far more "interesting" than it used to be :)

Everybody recognizes http://uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Mara as the Goddess of Love. If Mara doesn't recognize your union, it's not "official".

Basically an Amulet of Mara is a marriage license; you can fool around without one, but you have to have one to be legitimately married.

...So no one else thinks Dark Elves are hot?

..No?

My only male character married that hireable dark elf from the fletcher in Whiterun.

Other than her, Karliah, and the Balgruuf's housecarl are the only few dark elves I've been attracted to.

Edit: By the way, the amulet thing is explained in-game, yes. When I heard about it, I thought it was silly. But then I played it and it actually does make sense.
IE: Wearing the amulet shows everyone that you are "available".

Where's the love for Sapphire? That dark mystic woman. Since her first sarcastic comment when I first went to Riven I knew she would be my wife. Cheats or not, you will be mine!
Agreed. I used cheats to marry her and haven't regretted it. She has some pretty passionate dialogue after you get married.

She can do everthing a normal spouse does like cooking etc. But you can't visit her house like the game tells you to since she doesn't own one (I counted the beds in the Cistern and I'm pretty sure she owns a bed in the Cistern, although I've never seen her in there). So you'll have to move her into a house.

And oh yes--marrying Sapphire does come with an interesting downside. Using the marriage cheat will have her display some unpredictable maniac depressive :flame: behavior. I prefer to think of this as her suffering from severe mood swings, because fact of the matter is she IS one hell of a moody chick to begin with

Fooling the game into thinking she's on the designated marriage eligible NPC list with cheats, can backfire (if you try to use the generic dialogue that was available to you before marring her). So if you do marry her, ask her to make you a home cooked meal. Accept the food she gives you (and some tender lover dialogue), then ask her what her real name is. Next, prepare to :bolt: the Bee and Barb as she :flamethrower: :gun: your sorry Alzheimer's @$$ up out of there!

Aela the Huntress is the one for most of my chars, you can't beat werewolf lovin'.

I'd marry Karliah for the voice alone, but sadly she isn't available. Has to be the best voice in this game.

Hmm...I think either Karliah or Sapphire. Vex is attractive, too, in a way. All my women are thieves.

Lisette for sure.

She has a young voice and young skin, but her hair is grey. She is a bard and sings at the Winking Skeever in Solitude. Too bad you can't marry her, though.

Any of the Temple of Dibella women are pretty 'hot' when you get those confining robes off of them and can actually see what they look like!

I met Angi for the first time today and my Nord was quite taken with her. I showed her his skill with a bow only to find out she can't follow you or be married. Dammit.
