Hey gpsr, what is "UOP". My steathy rogue assassin noob is dieing to know. :ahhh:
Hey suzzi, UOP is the http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5296, an... unofficial umm... patch. It's a thing that the community put together that fixes a lot of the minor things that Beth never got around to fixing, like putting the ring that the Nord jeweler in the Market District theoretically sells in his inventory so that he actually sells it (in the original, it's mistakenly placed in someone else's inventory).
I have not bought a house and am still using the Abby near the first quest (Weylan? sp). Not knowing whether or not gold had importance in this game I haven't been spending much.
Gold is fairly important early in the game, especially if you pay for training, but later in the game, you'll probably have more than you'll be able to spend.
That guy in Anvil approached me about his home but there isn't enough bathrooms and no sun deck (for the jacuzzi of course) so I'm still shopping. :lmao:
The house in Anvil is a pretty good deal... after you clean it up a bit. :whistling:
Seriously, I probably will buy a house soon as it does appear my rouge really won't find great items at vendors and will only spend on lesser items such as spells and level ups. The first store I went into had a 2 handed axe at 14K gold so immediately I figured that I'd better loot like crazy and save money.
When you're in the Imperial City Market District, go into the Office of Imperial Commerce and talk to the woman there. She's got a good deal on a house. It's not much, but it's conveniently located (especially for a rogue) and inexpensive.
Your enthusiasm is infectious. Just saying....
