Just wondering whats the most exspensive item in Oblivion?
right now i have a 15.8k amulet i stole from a home in Cheydinhal anyone find more exspensive items or know what is the most?

okay i had to edit after having a quick browse of my skingrad home the amulet i stole was worth 15.8k
heres a list of my items i have in my skingrad house i will make a total list of every enchanted/exspensive items once i have more time
mundane ring 21.6k
escutchen of chorrol 17.5k
amulet of axes 15.8k-stolen from home in cheydinhal
ring of iron fist 15.8k
ring of sunfire 11.2k
spelldrinker amulet 10.4k
mirror shield 9.8k
cuircass of the undeafeated 9.3k

I haven't found anything quite that expensive yet, I've found 2 enchanted swords worth about 9000 each though. I think only the better loot appears when you're higher levels.

Just out of curiosity, whereabouts in cheydinhal did you find that? I've raided homes before with thief characters and I've never been able to find anything worth that much. (You might want to put your answer in spoiler tags just in case.)

The most expensive things in Oblivion are the items you enchant yourself

Every amulet that I'm aware of is found in leveled lists. So it was most likely due to random chance that miryks found it where he did. Unless it was added by a mod.

One of the more higher-priced items in the game is the Akaviri Warblade which has a base value of 2000 (will usually be considerably more expensive in the game).

Was this a mod? There are no such expensive items in vanilla OB.

ahhh darn, it's probably a mod. I hate Cheydinhal and try to stay away as much as possible, so I've never raided anything in that city. Did sound too good to be true though. :shrug:
