Most fun build

I tried a mage + heavy armor but he is srsly pathetic... Take dual wieding for extreme dmg, i have a dual wielding lvl 37 high elf without even 1 perk in light armor and i can destroy everything even before taking dmg haha... 2handed weapons are cool for 1-2 hit kills and r kinda challenging, but im having most fun with heavy armor, swords and shields. with this type of build u end up a real tank that can deal extreme dmg too considering u lvl up the enchanting tree all the way and get the right enchantments :)
In skyrim hybrid builds dont work really well unless u have an absolute gameplan for everything - wich quests to do first, wich daedric artifacts to get first, how to powerlevel all ur skills etc... wich really kills the fun of the game for me so you'd be better of making a pure character for now :) later on when u know more about the game u'll be able to make a beast hybrid too, wich im planing to do when i get bored of my current characters xD

I've been trying just about every physical damage approach I can, and the one I found to be the most entertaining was a combination of greatsword and bow in heavy armor. Play as an archer when needed, then whip out the sword and smash anything that gets in your face. I restarted all my characters on master difficulty recently though, so I'm currently replaying the beginner stuff. My only "complaint" is it gets pretty boring if you do blacksmith + enchanting. You pretty much 2 shot everything while being nearly indestructible. Come to think of it, I might play this character as "dead is dead" and restart if I die.

My next bet would be the stealthy assassin. Light armor, I purposely do not use max armor on my assassin just to preserve the glass cannon feeling. It gets stupid when you can one shot everything, but don't need to cause they can't hurt you anyway. There's also a certain bit of style to an assassin that chooses to wear a circlet instead of a helm. Don't need to hide your face when no one lives long enough to tell anyone about you.

i prefer the "jack of all stealth trades" build a combo of magic, one handed, and archer all stealth oriented. i mostly use the detect life/dead spells in alteration and have a dagger in my other hand...using stealth as your defense, i put a few perks into light armor jsut for the stamina regen tho
