Most Liked Human Race

I like Redguards most, but play Nords. But the latter is forced on me by the game itself - if TES 5 was in Hammerfell or Alinor or Valenwood or anything, I'd never play a Nord like I have never played a Nord in other TES games (only Altmer and Dunmer).

I'm a svcker for honour in fantasy lore so it should be no surprise that I love Nordic culture in Skyrim, not to say that the real Vikings weren't bad-ass or anything though

Forgot to elaborate on my answer.

I went with Bretons because the UESP points out that they are very non-homogenous in terms of culture and society, which I find much more appealing than the Nords, who seem largely to have pretty much one set of values, especially since they've turned their noses up at magic (The Skaal being a notable exception, and who completely fascinate me). I need to learn more about Imperials and Redguards, but what I've learned about either of them hasn't been enough to make me jump ships to them yet.

Plus, Bretons value stealth and espionage, things I felt were sorely lacking in terms of quests in Skyrim.

Also, I want to read more about the Bad Man.

Why in the world are bretons so popular? I can see Redguards and even imps, but Bretons?

Very nice.

This is why I keep hoping Bethesda will release a several hundred paged Atlas for Tamriel that goes into the geography, culture, religions, major myths and mythic figures, etc. of all the provinces, as well as possibly Akavir.

Of course, I doubt they'll do that because then they'll be obligated to match it come their next title, unless they do to other places what they did to Cyrodiil.

Also, why does TES:O have Cyrodiil look like post-Talos CHIM Cyrodiil rather than pre-Talos CHIM Cyrodiil?

Because ES:O is a disgrace, and they don't give a crap about lore. They could have at least made up a lore excuse like "When Talos used his CHIM powers to change Cyrodiil into what it is, it changed Cyrodiil all throughout time, just like when a person becomes a god, in time they were always a god."

That would have been a very simple fix. They even turned down MK, when he offered to do the lore.

Apparently ES:O's Twitter account says the jungle description is a "transcription error." A transcription error that somehow found its way into other http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Mythic_Dawn_Commentaries_3...

Yes, that crap made me really mad. So lazy.

Edit: Not to mention Imperials aren't a playable race.

Teasing the idea of them making more Daedric Princes got me more riled up.

Anywho, let's stay on topic. Glad to see the love for the Breton people. Really wish we'd get a proper representation of High Rock soon.
