Jiub for sure, followed by Socucious Ergalla. :)

I voted Other. The story of Almalexia is a story about Love, Fall and Mortality.

Jiub is one of the most memorable characters, even though you only see him once.

One that isn't there would be Hieronymus Lex.

I will never forget the ordinators in Morrowind they added so much atmosphere to the Tribunal Temple, always wished I could play as one. :(

I could never forget about Jiub. He was the first character I saw in the Elder Scrolls series.

also

An honorable mention would be Gaenor. That little Wood Elf was bad ass.

All of the above.

... Oh, what do you mean that's not an option? M'Aiq, then.

"M'aiq prefers to adventure alone. Others just get in the way. And they talk, talk, talk."

One that isn't there would be Hieronymus Lex.

He was definitely memorable. It was always fun asking him about the Gray Fox and having him say "he's just a myth." :P

This is one of those polls that should be multiple choice. Since I could only choose one, I went with the Imperial Guard one. Stop there criminal scum!

I have two words to say:

"What a fool. I'm a God! How can you kill a god? what a grand and intoxicating innocence. How can you be so Naive? There is no escape! No recall or intervention works in this place! Come, lay down your weapons. It's not too late for my mercey."

How the hell is Dagoth Ur not in here?

Seconded.

Not everyone finishes the main quest, in reality. And the antagonist of the whole game is kinda pushing it :P

Nonsense.

The psychic guards of Cyrodiil how could I forget? Impossible to commit a crime there because....

they are always watching you..... :ninja:

My thief character: Ok. No one in the house. Have 100% chameleon on just in case. Now I'll just take this alembic and...

[Suddenly, a figure assimilates through the door. He seems to be carrying a silver longsword, and armor and shield with the insignia of the town I'm in. He runs towards my area]

My thief character: Oh, you've got to be kidding me-

Town Guard: STOP RIGHT THERE CRMINAL SCUM!!!

My thief character: How in the living hell did you know I was here??? My sneak is 100 and I'm currently 100% cloaked. Eh, never mind. RESIST ARREST

Town Guard: THEN PAY WITH YOUR BLOOD!!!

[Guard draws his sword, only to stand in place for 10 seconds and slowly walk out the door]

My thief character: Well, that was strange.

As for my choice of character, I really don't know. I love the Oblivion guards, Jiub is quite awesome, and M'Aiq is one of the greatest easter eggs ever.

The guards from Oblivion got my vote, but I feel that some memorable characters were left off this poll, namely Lucien Lachance who would've gotten my vote had he been included...

I voted the Ordinators. Some of the most intimidating guards I've ever seen in a game. And I'm scum. Always.

They make a very interesting playthrough for a Nord or Orc with a short fuse. ^_^

Glarthir: He turned up dead... I guess someone finally got tired of his crazy behavior.

Yagrum Bagarn: Not a huge character in the game, oh wait, maybe he is....

Uriel Septim: You... I've seen you...

Baurus: Really? I never would have guessed.

Gray Fox: Capital!

The poll needs Dagoth Ur, he is one of the most memorable antagonists in a game, imo.

Difficult to pick one since most of them listed are all great but I'll pick Ordinators cause nothing has ever made me feel like such scum.
The guards in TES IV: Oblivion also called you scum, which I think is a welcoming tradition. Here's hoping for guards in TES V carry this on!

King of Worms.

Jiub comes as close second, thx to numerous character builds and wonderful voice acting.

There are no memorable characters in Elder Scrolls.

You find a questgiver, you do their quests, done.

Memorable would require you would have a continous story with a person, but that hardly ever happends.

I love Jiub. He's just so mysterious... And he's also the first friendly face you see in a province full of racist jerks.
Spoiler
Don't get me wrong though. Dark Elves are my favorite race :)

Here I am

To be honest I don't understand why there is so much hatred for Fargoth. He just wanted to be friendly to PC.

I'm an odd one, I suppose. One of the most memorable characters to me is http://uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Dar-Ma. She's just so happy to meet you, and after you save her, she practically adores you (but not to the point of annoyance like http://uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Adoring_Fan). I guess she just left an impression on me..
