1: first time meeting Veronica: "how can I best use your skills?
"I like to punch things. I mean, I really like to punch things."
"...erm... OK, I guess..." (Rly? oh boy, this is not so great)

so we stroll South and at an old gas station, 4 vipers or whatever pop out from a billboard shooting. Whoa! I get hit in the head, duck for a wee bit of cover like a smart rifle girl, Ronnie trots over and goes, "Bang, bang, bang, bang." and starts walking back while I'm still shoving shells in my Cowboy Repeater.

Umm, alright.... wow. Thanks.

2: 1st time I met Vulpes Inculta (?) in
Spoiler
Nipton. I went around and went through the hotel first, with the dogs, the journal and the dead townspeople, then got his little story about the "lesson" he wanted me to take away from it all.
Holy cr@p that is an evil scene.

3: 1st conversation with Caesar. Whoof. Fantastic voice acting, and he looked exactly right. I still got chills even when I went back the 2nd playthrough, and knew I was going to massacre the camp.

I was in the middle of fighting something, and that trader dude just wanders through my combat to tell me about those dang star bottle caps....

Destroying Cottonwood Camp and The Fort and killing Caesar all in one event with my companions. The Fort took a freakishly long time due to the several times I had to restart due to lags and screw ups-after a while, though, I finally learned how to handle that particular part of the area. Gotta say I remember it all with really, really mixed feelings. A mix of total satisfaction at managing it all right there and then, and getting it over with(especially since NPCs respond to the fact you killed him in dialog and such), and of total frustration and exhaustion(it was late, I was therefore tired).

A lot of early moments in the game, especially when I had just gotten it and was ridiculously giddy about it.

And yes, definitely seeing New Vegas from afar. I still love seeing it from a huge distance away.

Getting Ed-E was pretty memorable.

I had a physics glitch the very first time I used the special move for the rebar club. I snuck up behind a ghoul, hit "Mauler", it did the action, by which point I was already grinning, and the ghoul flew about 50 feet. I just about died from laughing. I wish I could repeat it.

Hoover dam (what else?)
Hacking the system in Hoover dam and making yes-man's face appear everywhere (genius)
the legendary deathclaw :D
The first conversation with legate lanius (a true genius, best character in the game next to benny I found general lee oliver to be a stupid and foolish leader)
feeling my rage against benny fade and then end up trashing caesars legion for my first playthrough and begin my independent run-through.
talking with Vulpus Inculta for the first time.

I love this game. :fallout:

Anytime I see Veronica kill someone by punching them into something. No matter how many times I see it happen, it never gets old. Although the most memorable one was when she punched a freeside thug into a lamp post as he charged at me.

Human pinball, priceless

There's a few all right. I just wish Obsidian included random encounters. They were censoring awesome.
