None. I can get into arguments about this over games all day, but as far as music is concerned, I consider it entirely subjective to the point where it can't even be properly disputed over and I see no reason to think any music is overrated or underrated. "Different strokes for different folks" and all that jazz.

And no, it's not just me taking up a neutral position - I seriously feel this way because I listen to such an amazingly wide array of music, much of which is considered "bad" by many people.

Bands that are Overated and I hate:
Pretty much every female pop star, every latin idol, and every boy band except Boys to Men.
Green Day
The Used
Every Emo band
anything belonging to a genre that ends in -core
Nickleback
Puddle of Mud

Bands that are Overated, but I still like them:
ACDC
Avenged 7 Fold
Dream Theatre

Up for debate:
Metallica

I never really got into the Beatles either. I like a select couple of their songs but that's about it.

I haven't even heard Death Magnetic. Well, a couple of songs when my friend put them on my ipod.

You may be my other brother.
We are both "immature".
I call All American Rejects the All American Failures, and Fall Out Boy Fail Out Boy.
Nickelback and Theory of a Deadman are also pretty overrated (power chords and constipated vocals).

Death Magnetic was so good that it redeemed them form the earsore that was St Anger. Its a pretty great album and you should put all your preconceptions aside, and just enjoy it.

GaGa svcks, but Bieber is awesome, he has more trolls than anyone on planet earth. Stays cool anyway, and gets more "female attention" than you or I ever will.

I don't know. My first intro to something off Death... was an animated video they put out. I couldn't even recognize Hetfield's voice. It kind of put me off.

this... well not the last part

I liked green day before they became emo and and their lyrics were literally at times whining. they just plain svck now.

something else I have heard although I just havent listened to them enough to have my own opinion is radiohead, I heard some one once call them over ratediohead

Believe me man, after St Anger and the Napster thing, I was in MEGA Metallica HATE mode for a few years. Death Magnetic won me back.

I also do that with other things. I've never approved of name calling, but stupidity is an exception.

I also think Cage the Elephant is overrated, even though I love them myself.

The Beatles. Seriously.

EDIT: Oh, and Coldplay. Especially that "Viva La Vida" song. I would hear people talking about it like it was the Second Coming and would wonder what the heck annoying song with the stringed instruments and whiny vocals I was hearing at work until I put two and two together.

Why does everybody say the Beatles? :'(

I don't know what it's like in the rest of the world, but here everybody thinks they svck majorly, although most people have only ever heard a handful of their songs when they sang over 220, making them under-rated IMO.
