Id have to go with Breton as they just are too dandy and nerdy. They are too squishy and arent meant to b a true dragon born. They should stick to their fancy exploding college.

I think a lot people go overboard with the Dunmer and Nords. Especially on here. But I like the Nords too, so its meh.

I don't have to have a logical reason to dislike a race of people.

I've never played as an Argonian. I know they aren't actually meant to be lizard-people, but (much like the Silurians in Doctor Who) I can't quite get over lizardy looking people with briasts. I don't think they're massively popular, though, so I suppose not really overrated. I do like quite a lot of the Argonian NPCs, though.

I'm not overly keen on Bosmer, either, though I think they have some interesting lore stuff. I like most of the others, though. I really enjoyed my Dunmer character, and I actually like playing as Imperials and Bretons a lot, but then I'm a squishy nerdy type, myself. Brains over brawn and all that. But at the same time, it's undeniably good fun to play as a complete headsmasher of an Orc or a Nord with a warhammer and heavy armour, ploughing through everyone who looks at you funny. I've never managed to play as a 'Skyrim for the Nords, Dunmer and everyone else should GTFO sort', though, even my occasional Stormcloak-sympathising Nord characters are usually pretty upset when they realise how badly non-Nords are treated in Windhelm.

Dunmer and Nords come to mind. Not surprising, as it's very easy to be fanatic about them, when we've had a game that focused on their culture.[Morrowind & Skyrim] Imperials got the short-end with Oblivion for several reasons. Chief among them: Cyrodiil is a diverse place, so Imperials weren't focused on like the Dunmer and Nords got in Morrowind and Skyrim.

Agreed, though I have to admit I don't remember Morrowind bugging me as much as Skyrim does. Except the slavery thing, that I really hated. Maybe its just the Nords

It's okay, if they do focus on Elsweyr the Khajiit will most likely be elves again with little to no word on the other subraces because lol Oblivion and Skyrim. Especially Oblivion.

It's the fans that are overly fanatic and try to weasel around any bad part about the Nords or insult other races or groups because they "make the nords less bad-ass"
