can anyone tell me what the most powerful weapon, armor and anything else that doesn't fall into those two categories are?

In the book Tamrielic Lore, Mehruhnes Razor is described as killing any creature instantly. However, one should note that this is an embellishment, although the dagger is supremely powerful.

Hmm, i always took it that there was an actual object called the Pankrotosword, but it took a certain technique to use it. Then again, its been a while since i read up on that kind of stuff, so i could be wrong

sorry i wasnt more specific, to get really specific, as someone said about mehrunes razor, in all the lore what is referred to as the most devastating weapon, the most durable, legendary and powerful armor, but i might as well check the links, thanks guys! :goodjob:

Saviors Hide for armor? I'm not sure about that one.

How about the Moon Riever? I mean, it can kill a daedric Prince. That's pretty amazing.

Since it was created 100's of it, i highly doubt it.

Cryshmer is suppose to be fairly powerfull, but i guess the most powerfull weapon price goes to the Bipolar Blade. Reading the story, it was crafted to be a devistating weapon. But ofcourse, it got 1 major flaw: The 2 smiths ended up adding enchantments that negated each other. As a weapon, it was superior. But the enchant kills the weapon, unless you are fighting somebody how is capabel of becoming immune to magicka emotion manipulation.

very interesting, i hope they add some of these to the next Elder Scrolls. The only thing is is that they should make it so you can only do those at a certain level (as a quest reward i mean).

I'll be damned if I sit back and don't pipe my opinion into this one - Wabbajack and Hircine's Hide.

Just think. A single mage, walking into battle half-way immune to magick, swinging a stick that turns men into the most random of things. If for nothing else, the sheer chaos of the damn stick should put it high on the power list.

Turn a dragon into a mudcrab and a rat into a Dremora. Tell me if that ain't the [censored]. Made it more powerful? No worries, just wave the stick around some more.

...for thirty seconds. Given a fortune in filled soul gems you could momentarily delay a cavalry charge.

If the stories about its full abilities are true, I'd like to add Barilzar's Mazed Band.

And of course, there's Kagrenac's Tools and the Mysterium Xarxes.
