They can actually catch you when you're backpedaling. Unlike Deathclaws.

The stimpaks aren't even fast enough on survival, you have to dodge all her spit. Makes her a real challenge.
I agree on the Assaultrons, those girls are freaking terminators!
Yes, had my first run in with them now and the basic version is more like legendary enemies than standard ones.
Nope I only seen Alpha, glowing, and chameleon deathclaws.
I was in power armor and she killed me like I was nothing with that poison.
I use an arm guard with +25 poison resist, going to take a lot to make me take that off since i haven't found anything with a base poison resit value. not that it'll save me from the queens but it makes me feel safer at least
Haha, yea swan freaked me the hell out. I was just looking around the park when all of the sudden he pops up. I ran as fast as I could throwing missles and minigun fire behind me. I still had to run to help after depleting all my missles.
I've never had trouble dodging the queen's poison... those battles were always easy for me. I don't use power armor though usually, so I'm very mobile and I mod my leg armor to boost mobility higher... and one of my heavy combat armor legs came with a +10% speed boost, so joy! For queens I generally just circle them and tear them apart with a crazy high damage shotgun, which seems to be the easy answer to most big targets. A legendary deathclaw felled in 8-10 hits with it. The queens I've fought took a fair bit more, but still no problem.
The toughest fight I've had was against a toughened up raider in power armor with a fatman. I wasn't even getting close enough to make the godly shotgun effective. I had to run run run. I couldn't stop to snipe. It was just a never ending rain of nukes. The arc meant cover was useless. I had no closed spaces I could hide in. The guy's position made it hard to hit. That raider was just about the perfect setup to leverage his infinite ammo power. It seemed like no matter where I was, he could target me and send nukes. I avoided death by pure mobility. I ended up running away and comming back with my own power armor and a fat man. We had a good'ole fat man fight. It was gloriously destructive. In retrospect, I could have used a stealth boy to get in close, but hindsight is 20/20. At the time I didn't have ballistic weave either, so my armor wasn't godly... I was probably around 80 def at the time, nothing like my 330ish now.
Try fighting a Gunner Vertibird with no ranged weapons, i had to lure it towards a BoS one.
A gunner vertibird?! Is this a thing? I got attacked by a vertibird once... blew it up with my plasma rifle, and then reloaded because I assumed the BoS faction had bugged out and went hostile with me in typical Bethesda faction freakout style. Maybe that was a gunner vertibird I encountered though... now I'll have to scout out around where I saw it. I'd love to fight some enemies with more firepower!
Try to lure it to a BoS one, the dogfights are fun to watch.
Stingwings luckily die fast. But I can't hit the damn things without vats, seriously.
Haven't ventured out much, but between a few Legendary super mutants, a couple of radscorpions, and razorclaw mirelurks, so far, I have to say the toughest enemy out there is the bonehead with the rocket launcher.
One shot kills, every time. Worse: these rockets now have a blast radius that can go through walls. Every single time, I get taken out by a missle despite being behind a wall. I find it comical they can see me before I can see them.
I really, really hate this "zone dectecor" enemies have.
The skull means that the enemy is higher level than you. However, Mirelurk Queen is listed as level 50, and im currently level 47 and the skull that was there few levels ago isn't there anymore. I guess because the difference btw me and her is small.
I still wonder if there's Ebony warrior type of a npc/creature that appears only when you reach like level 70-80.
