Most powerful person in tamirel?

*casts wards against a possible radial implosion brought on by necrotic scripture*

Well, Divath was a member of the PSJJJJJ...

Member of the Psijic Order. PSJJJJ and the Psijic Order are two different things. The latter bases their philosophy on the metaphysics of the former.

I'm being my usual nitpicking self.

Why did Nerevarine go to Akavir? I havent played OB yet!

I entertain a scenario in which Helseth, threatened by the Hortator's political clout, sends the Hortator on a wild goose chase halfway around the world, possibly with a crew trained to sabotage the boat or attempt to assassinate him/her upon arrival.

It will always be down to the Nerevarine and the Champoin of Cyrodiil.

Edit: Nerevarine wins. Forget what I said earlier. The Nerevarine has already killed Vivec, Almalexia, and Dagoth Ur. These three are gods not to mention. He also fought with countless cliffracers in his long stay in Morrowind. The Champion of Cyrodiil just closed the gates of Oblivion and drove Dagon back there.

The Nerevarine also cast more spells than the Champoin of Cyrodiil, not to mention the Nerevarine's uber enchanted rings, robes and armor.

Well, I have played and finished Oblivion now, and no way can I support any Shakespearian interpretation of anything from Oblivion.

Then the joke's on you, and big time, what with Uriel spouting lines from Julius Casear nonstop.

For all that money spent on Captain Picard, they couldn't not give him some good lines. That really would be bad developing.

I don't think that's CHIM. I think that's just cheating.

But, but what if the Nerevarine was the Champion of Cyrodiil :o

And FYI, Vivec lived...

Something about the bluntness of that statement made me laugh; here, have this lightbulb :lightbulb:

Pssshh.

Vivec is still alive (like Luagar said), though I will say that killing Voryn and Ayem are feats in themselves (though they lost godhood upon Heart removal). Consider lore and not game mechanics. Heh, and how can you downplay something like stopping an actual Daedra Lord and a demon invasion??? Dude... he LITERALLY battled the personification of Destruction and lived!!

Also note that Martin, in Aka-Avatar form, defeated Dagon.

Forgive me for skipping the first post, for this next bit may be irrelevant, but MK has stated that, if we're considering all of Existence, Talos is the strongest "being;" he IS basically an amalgamation of certain quote-unquote BAMFs.

Or, he literally snuck past the personification of Destruction's big toe, and lived...

TALOS AE DAEDROTH! TALOS AE LKHAN! Actually neither are true, I know. The discussion will go nowhere because: THE QUESTION AE FALSE!!

There are many forms of power. Political, influential, divine, metaphysical. See the dictionary agrees with me: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/power

So there are many individuals with many forms of power. Possibly the CoC who has all of the above at the end of SI, theoretically. But then again he is a god solely IN the shivering isles, so that throws his bid out of the window, because we're asking whose most powerful IN tamriel.

The only proper way to judge morrowind char. vs oblivion char. is to have them fight, not at level one hundred, but at level 1.

The Champion of Cyrodiil didn't battle Dagon. He just snuck past him with Martin to the temple of the one. Then Martin turned into the avatar of Akatosh and destroyed Dagon. So technically he cannot be credited for that. The only thing he can be credited for is becoming Sheogorath

There is already a Nerevarine vs COC topic (Or was at least) Make another one if you want to talk about them exclusively

Anyway the Nerevarine already went to Akivari and since the Champion of Cyrodiil is now Sheogorath I am guessing he is planning on ruling over the Shivering Isles

The only person who could possibly be the most powerful person in Tamriel is either Helseth or even if he is out Barenziah

I didn't say that the person was powerful. Just the fact that he has a position of power and could gain an even better one without the emperor

Anyway the Nerevarine already went to Akivari ...

No he didn't, it is just a rumour from Oblivion and I as Nerevarine know better than some stupid NPC from Oblivion. :P

When it comes to people kicking Mehrunes ass he's outdone by the Champion of the Battlespire, he actually took a lethal stab at Mehrunes and clever Herkel who didn't even have to take a stab.

Shh, but proweler, Mr. Battlespire can't be the most powerful, no one's even played that game!

Isn't the hero of Battle Spire Divyath Fyr? So I think he has the right to be a god killer since he is immortal. But he doesn't even want to be the leader of the Telivani

If we're excluding mythic hero-gods (not including the incarnations in this exclusion) and whatnot, then what about Cyrus? I'd like to see people's thoughts on him.

I'm starting to think that this is a pretty impossible question, if we're excluding the mythic.

I think that's quite debatable. Maybe not necessarily unverifiable, but I don't think there is a lot of lore to support it.

But hell, I haven't read crap in like 2 weeks.
