Most powerful person in tamirel?

Why are there so many pissing contest threads in Lore lately? What's next, which Tower is the biggest? At least it would be refreshingly transparent.

It's periodic. Happens whenever the devs lose their internet connection or something. We need either a theory or a firefight, but I'm not so good at either one.

Whoever is the current game's player character. It's all about the CHIM, baby.

I like the which tower is biggest topic. I am. :hubbahubba: But yeah. There have been a lot of these threads, and I've been retreating into the Fallout pages. The Lore pages used to be my retreat from "Which is cooler/better/more pwnage" threads, but it seems to have been taken over too.

It used to be Uriel Septim but I suppose Ocato is the next powerful. The heroes of Tamriel, the Champion of Cyrodiil and the Nerevarine, are not as powerful as one may think. They have a bit of personal power as individuals; they can fight several warriors to a standstill, cast mighty magick, and steal precious trinkets like nobody's business.

Compared to characters such as Uriel Septim, Helseth, Ocato, and the Counts/Countesses of Cyrodiil, they wield true power. How can a powerful warrior contend with an army that one powerful noble can bring to bear? What does one more sword matter in a sea of swords? Or what if the Elder Council/Council of Mages decides to ban the use of destructive forms of magic by common citizens?

Compared to the aforementioned personages, the heroes are lackeys to be used by these powerful nobles for 100-200 gold pieces and magical trinkets. The ability to command great heroes to do your bidding--that is real power.

I may be changing sides but the heroes at least the champion is the leader of the Dark brotherhood (verry powerful assassins),Thieves guild(could be made spies),Fighters guild(anyone say army?),mages guild(magic is very powerful),so he/she controls an army.We could take over cities. one by one. and accumulate an army let bandits and necromancers alike join us and take over the imperial city itsel.f

Fyr certainly has to be amoung the elite few if not the most powerful himself

I betcha Aryon is no weakling either especially if the TElvanni under his reign have established a strong precense in morrowind given the events of obilivion

Physical or Magickal, either way. Pretty much, if someone were to fight another, who would win.

I'd say the Nerevarine. Immune to all forms of disease, blight or otherwise, can't age, has the tools of kargenac, is the Hortotar, and a influential member of one of the great houses(hopefully not redoran). lets not forget that he's killed two gods (possibly a third one, depending on whether the chimmed up player gutted vivec) and kicked Hircine's ass. Then the champion of Cyrodiil would come in second, seeing as he fought hordes upon hordes of daedra single-handedly, but he's much more vulnerable then the Nerevarine. Then agian, he did mantle good ol' sheo.

I agree. Fyr and Aryon are probably two of the, if not the most, powerful people in Tamriel. Fyr's been alive for close to Four thousand Years (if memory serves me correctly) and is probably the most powerful Telvanni Mage-Lord. Aryon, on the other hand, appears to be just as powerful as Fyr. After all, he dismissed two Magical Items as if they were nothing to him. Saying that he didn't need them anymore. (And let's keep in mind that one of these could summon a trio of Atronachs, where as the other could control most of the people in Vvardenfell, Gameplay wise.)

Mind you, just as many others have said; The Champion of Cyrodiil, and the Nerevarine are very powerul too. The Nerevarine did, of course, kill two Gods (Dagoth Ur, Almalexia) and prett much beat the crap out of Hircine. He also, quite possibly, gutted Vivec. The Champion, on the other hand, fought huis way through hordes of Daedra, defeated Umaril the Unfeatherd forever, and took up the mantle of the Madgod, himself.

Hmmm. I wonder what would happen if the Champion and the Nerevarine has a showdown...

What if your save is corrupted?

They dont call me the XBox saved game editing guy for nothing K. I can fix broken PC saves (at least for morrowind) quite well. I can even fix broken XBOX saved games--

Daggoth Ur would never stand a chance against me. I can simply set his HP to 0, and blow him over. :P I can also "Stop script" his little resurrection script and end his so called "Divinity" with just a few keystrokes.

i am a hacker. I am all powerful in Tamriel. :P

The Nerevarine has political as well as physical power. Consider how many friends he's made as the savior of Morrowind. The Great Houses love him. As a heroic Blade, the Empire has to love him. Even Helseth owes the Nerevarine a favor or two.

Don't forget the Skaal Tribe, Raven Rock Colony, and the Ashlanders. Along with the Morag Tong, too.

And possibly every other faction in Vvardenfel.

To bad he or she went to Akavir and was never heard from again.

Well, now that you mention it, the Nerevarine isn't in Tamriel at all. I suppose that disqualifies him.

Well, yeah if you think about it that hard. But if you don't, then Neravarine wins hands down. Besides, there will probably be a book or journal in TES V that explains what happened to the Neravarine, hopefully. I hate cliff-hangers that last a decade.

The Champion of Cyrodiil beats him , because he became a Daedric Prince.

I would clearly vouch for Barenziah. Never underestimate the power and influence of a Dunmer woman who slept with half the world.

I am. The Nerevarine, or the Champion of Cyrodiil always win these discussions. Don't quite know why the agent from Daggerfall and the Eternal Champion always get forgotten about, so I'm saying one of them.

That is why these conversations never work out. Everyone says the one of the PCs even though every PC did things differently.

Well, no. The question was about the most powerful person in Tamriel.

The Nerevarine is not in Tamriel, but in Akavir. The same goes for the COC, who is now sitting on his throne somewhere in Oblivion.

And the current whereabouts of the Etneral Champion and the Heroes of Daggerfall and Battleaspire are not known. And since we don't know if they are even in Tamriel, we can't really discuess them.
