Many random things happened to me. The one that sticks out the most was when I fell under the map in Megaton...

I was bored and waiting outside Vault 101.
I decided to do the console command to get all quests, "saq".

Everything went all bright as if you went into the Anchorage simulation. I appeared in the Command Tent in Operation: Anchorage. They spoke to me as if I had done everything. All the Anchorage quests were done, I had all my items and the T51-b Winterized Power Armour too. I also had the GNR Radio station, Vault 101 Emergeny Signal and Agatha's Channel available.

After a few minuted I would randomly explode. Out of nowhere and die.

I went into the tent and exploded a few time after respawning. I decided to put the "tfc" command on (toggle free camera) and look around, I didn't respawn and everything was spoken in slow motion. I was dead and every few seconds I would explode. I then decided to have a laugh so I spawned 31 Dogmeat's into the tent and watched them make a croud around General Chase. He got stuck and I would keep exploding even after being dead. Made me laugh a bit.

31 Dogmeats!? Lol. That sounds cool- wish I had seen that!

Flying Deathclaws- everybody talks about that here but it never seems to happen on my game... :verymad:

The best randomn thing I've had is Dogmeat and a Mole Rat fighting each other inside a boulder. Standing on the outside I couldnt see a thing, only could hear heaps of growling and fighting.
Five seconds later Dogmeat strolls out with a smug look on his jowls. Good boy!

I tried to record it but the stupid recorder recorded my desktop, not the game. :l

Not to self: Do not attempt to resurrect self as it may lead to fatal and uncontrollable spinning at 100km/h. May also dig tunnel to centre of Earth.

The flying deathclaw occurs around lightlamplight....if you head into the parking lot (several cars and a bus there) I don't remember the direction, but you turn left, and walk a bit, there'll be a demolished house with a bunch of mines around it...that's where I ran into it.

My friend and I were messing around with the console and that happened to us to. Also the resurrect 1 command can be really wierd sometimes.

While traveling southeast from Megaton, I came over the top of a hill and spotted an enclave guy and his robot buddy. I nailed the bot with A3-21's plasma rifle, then targeted the enclave goon. Well, nothing happened to him. So I closed in on him and qued him up in VATS. Again no damage. So I walked right up to him and hear him spouting tough guy phrases, but he does not move. Fired point blank with an assortment of weapons and inflicted ZERO damage!! So I just went about my business and never looked back.

Usually, when I hear that, I try to get to a good, nearby vantage point.
When I do see the cause, it invariably turns out to be a Sentry Bot going up against a critter. Sentry Bots have a rocket launcher as their left arm and a gatling laser as their right.
So what I do is use the critter and the bot for target practice using the missile launcher.

As for randomness, while bored, I decided to pay the Botherhood of Tin's place a visit while in God Mode. Bael and an untalkative Knob were out front as usual, so I knocked them out with the MIRV. Somehow, I managed to get the dumb Knob into the radwaste creek out front of the Citadel. Whilst it was swimming back to land, I noticed what it was doing and opened up on it with another few rounds from the MIRV. The dumb Knob was knocked out cold again and launched into the air, landing further away from where it was trying to get to.

well a couple ppl in megaton said that i muredered ppl in arefu when i only stole the bobblehead there

I waited for 2 hours outside rivet city to get a new trader to appear, and when one did it was crow, but he and his body guard were fused into the same body or something and I couldn't talk to either one. it looked like crow but the left side of the guard was showing on the edge of his body, and a third of her face was sticking out on the left side of his head lol. I tried punching "it" but I did no damage and "it" didn't react. Quite strange.

Also the handbrake on the motorcycle on the deck of rivet city fell through the deck so I used TCL and followed it and found it directly below the ship in the bottom of the river. Probably didn't even need to use TCL. So if you ever lose the handbrake go for a swim.

I almost made a thread about it when this happened to me because I got so freaked out.

So I was in Rivet City, trying to get those two lovebirds together. Angela had just told me about her feelings and I couldn't find Diego, so I decided to sneak into the rectory (I don't remember what it's called exactly, but I mean that room in the back of the church) to see if there was anything cool there (I also just like breaking into random places).

When I picked the door and entered (in the middle of the night), Diego was there, sleeping. Angela was standing next to him, holding a knife and asking him questions like "Do you find me sixy?"

I was heading back to the Superduper mart to finish looting it and had to save a wastelander from a rader.
Then the wastelander woman asked me to disarm the explosives strapped to her.
I failed...she ran from me yelling "i'm gonna die"...then....she did.It was a mess.


I came out the front gate of Megaton to find the robot and the begger dead.
Now whenever I leave that way the robot falls from the sky.

Today I was walking somewhere up north and I heard a brahmin moo and then an explosion.I walked back and found the brahmin's heads,but not the body.Lol

Poor thing probably found itself on the business end of a landmine. :flamed:

Lets see, probably when I got the Firelance event and a raider jacked my firelance. Or when I left a metro and found a group of talon company mercs, then a lady with a bomb strapped to her chest ran into them, it was awesome!!!!! :fallout:

I've seen quite a few examples of wasteland madness (and this is on the ps3!) up to and including orbital Death Claws.

But my best example would be when crossing the wastes I came upon a trio of Brotherhood of Steel types. As soon as I came close they activated combat against a nearby Giant Radscorpion, and while rushing for it the second in line threw a grenade, sadly for him his partner had just crossed in front of him and the explosive bounced back off him, bounced off the thrower and then exploded between them- with the third one close by. I guess the BoS in front saw this as hostile and turned around, unloading his Gattling Laser on BOTH the other two and evicerated them. Shortly after he was welcomed with a stinger to the spine and flew forward comically. All three dead and not a single hit on the scorpion.

I have since named these three; Larry, Curly and Moe.

This happened to me a few days ago.

I was walking through the D.C. area and came across a raider camp, and Dogmeat and my companion, always the suicidal ones, ran straight in.

Me, being a sniper kind of guy, hung back, throwing grenades and shooting anyone i could. I dont know if its because my grenade hit him, but a raider suddently flew up into the air, and hung there. And i dont mean that he got blown up there, or what.
He literally just starting floating straight up, vertically, still aiming and shooting at my companions.


So i shot him. He noticed me, and made a run for me, still high up in the air. Then gravity noticed him, and he fell down to his death.

Weird.

The other day I had a Super Mutant fire a missile at me. However, his missile hung in the air and just continued to make the "firing" sound. I could not pick up the missile and it would not stop on it's own.

Needless to say, I loaded up my last save game as I did not want this to cause any issues further on.

omfg thats messed up...and yah i love breaking into things always its soo fun....im such a bad boy lol.

That happened to me (sort of) I was running away from like 7 deathclaws, then they just all disappeared. I never saw a deathclaw in the game again.

I was near the Deathclaw sanctuary, I saw 3 deathclaws. I decided to attack them. When I got within about 10 feet, they all shot up into the air out of sight. About 5 minutes later then landed on/around me and killed me.
