I was fighting General Jingwei in Operation Anchorage and it was a very tough battle. We were both low in health(I had a Chinese Incinerator blasting me as well), and just as I got him to two bars of health the Mysterious Stranger came in and blew him away. It made for a rather anti-climatic finish to the battle... :blink:

Twice i've walked into an object and been catapulted upwards
Had deathclaws and robobrains in regulater HQ
After an enclave soldier dies, bodie flies around in the air really fast
Had a dead talon comany member bodie stretch reallllly far
multiple times in deatclaw sancurary, the brahim next to the bobblehead squiffifys in the floor

i experienced something i call 'the Jesus Enclave'.

Once after killing a couple of enclave soldiers at their post on a street in the middle of some farm fields, i approached the final one who for some reason was standing far away from the others, amongst some cows.

As i got up close to him, i noticed he didn't have any weapon on him. He turned to face me, stuck his arms straight out from each side of his body, and then shot straight up high into the air to freeze in place. After 700 hours of play, he has remained there since. Fixed up in the air in a crucifix pose.

A couple of times i've used him from a distance as a marker to orient myself. Too weird.

My new playthrough (coming back from NV) I decided to play on V.hard. I leave megaton on the way to super duper mart and I see an Enclave soldier who proceeded to turn me into ash. A few loading screen later and I have some nice stuff to sell back in megaton. It might be a random encounter area but I have never seen it before, massively unfair for me.

Fighting around Falls Church with some brotherhood and supermutants, a car started bouncing around everywhere then exploded killing an unnamed brotherhood member, funny but there was an extremely annoying metal crashing noise so I had to mute my TV.

i turned a ferocious dog to ash with my metal blaster.. however an invisible "ghost" dog followed me attacking

Struttin' my stuff through the Wasteland, when I hear Talon Company Mercs running at me like Muhahahaha. Then a Supermutant started shooting them and I was like :whistling:

The Talons won and then they killed me :blink:

I've got 2
1st I shot the supermutant with the minigun up at the top of the little tower thing near rivet city and he flew into the air and started stretching out and flying in circles all over the place.
2nd I had just come out of Evan Kings place and saw a mirelurk king fall out of the sky over the side of the bridge

Saw a Deathclaw in the distance standing in the open near a lake, took a bead and started running toward him. He notcied me and started running toward me, then flew up intot he air.

I looked over at Clover and she was looking straight up, pointing her combat shotty towards the flying beast. I ran around a bit hoping to get him to path back to the ground but eventually gave up, and took off in another direction. After a good bit I heard Clover firing away and looked back to see her quite some distance behind me standing over a deathclaw corpse...

It was just odd.

Using FWE I picked an alternate start. All I had was a crowbar. Then a super mutant hit me in the head and 1 shot me. Ahole.

Imagine the scene. Raven Rock is blowing up, vertibirds are frantically evading and trying to gain altitude to escape, most are failing. Now look to the Wanderer, standing proud on the side of a hill. See the wanderer die as a flaming vertibird crashes on her before she can run.

This just happened to me near the Scrapyard. A red dot appears on radar, Fawkes pulls GL and charges, then points his GK straight up. A deathclaw then lands nearby and runs toward us. It dies.

What is FWE? I'd like to start a character in Point Lookout if possible.

FWE. That`s the excellent Fallout conversion mod. Adds loads of stuff like new weapons, more real chems (like morphine), too much to list here.

There`s no start in Point Lookout. Point Lookout is really for high level players, starting there would be extremely rough.

ps. I can`t really think of any random thing except the odd robot flying in the air.

I did have a cool battle the other day when fighting Raiders. there was one girl Raider left with a submachine gun. I ran totally out of ammo. So I switched to my baseball bat. Now this was really dicey. I have realistic hard-hitting Mods that allow you to up the damage (as I configured in FWE). So no way could I charge her with the baseball bat. She`d just blow me away.

So I ran and hid behind a corner of a building and waited. I was pretty sure I was dead cos hitting her with a bat wasn`t going to kill her.

She came running around the corner, smg in hand, I swung hard- and knocked the gun out of her hand! I then battered her before she could do anything. Boy, that was extremely lucky!

I was at a place where there was a behemoth in a cage. Amy Wong ( companion mod ) began taunting him / her by taking a few shots at the cage. From around the corner raiders attacked and kept me busy for a short time. When I finished with them I turned to see what Amy was doing and she let the behemoth out of the cage, who turned me into porridge in two strikes. I admit, she is often a bloodthirsty psycho. But she is far too valuable for the fact that she brings me ammunition.

A different time I was running through DC with Amy following me at medium distance when I heard a loud noise. I spun around to catch something very large and metal flying past me. Amy had Godzilla-kicked a heavy vehicle in my direction. At that point I remembered that I had accidentally shot her earlier. Much earlier.

This morning I saw a rad scorpion fly past me and landed on the ground some distance away. That was a sight to see.

In the last playthrough.

I met three Yau Gaui outside Hamiltons Hideout.

One kept lying down and talking to the other.
Like it was ill.

The other kept talking to it trying to get it to stand.

Then another appeared and they sat down with the sick Yau Gaui.

Sweet.

I had Animal Friend perk .

The Sentry Bots invading the Regulater farmstead happened every time I went there.

Every time I went there, there was either a sentry bot or a sentry bot and other enemies, fightng each other.

One sentry bot followed me into the house once.

Either they are sent by enemies or there is something the house is built on they want.

The most random experience was when i blew the head off a mutant with a sniper in the middle of the wasteland and when i when to take his items his body jerked and whipped me, killing me with full health.

No matter how many times it happens I never learn.



And randow stuff happens a lot when I reload. Sometimes two yao guais manage to sneak up and destroy me and I will reload, only for them to be replaced by a deathclaw. Other times this happens when I am the on sneaking up on raiders or such, and a group of animals ambushes me from a direction that was previously clear prior to reloading.

Yeah, I've had that happen to me several times as well, one time I was just walking along near a hill and I happened to look up and see a Giant Rad Scorp fly through the air above me and disappear over the hill.

Needless to say, I couldn't stop laughing.

I was cleaning out Evergreen Mills when someone charged and ran past me. When I exited the place I saw that the person who ran was Smiling Jack. Bursting with curiosity, I followed him a long way East where there was a raider and a pig in combat, and Smiling Jack opened fire in their direction. Not wanting him to die, I saw that the raider was still standing and shot him down. After that Smiling Jack led me all the way back to his original spot.

I left Megaton the other day. Usually there are two soldier ants out front which I help to battle then move on. This time there was one Deathclaw, two soldier ants, six, count them SIX! Raiders and three Outcasts, who are unfriendly to me after that nasty incident with the Mesmetron. And after nearly all the dust settled, a robobrain flew through the sky and came crashing down at my feet. Thank goodness I had pre-armored all the traders, otherwise Harith would be dead right now.

You're using MMM, aren't you? I think you can repair that Outcast problem with

also try BrotherhoodOutcastGenericFaction with the above



If that doesn't work then try removing yourself from the faction of enemies of Outcasts:

Sadly, I'm on the xbox. I decided thumbs down for me being friends with the Outcasts this time around. So I'm cool with that. It's just a spawn so crazy has only happened once before on a different character, where I had two groups of Raiders, one Enclave foot patrol which was reinforced by a dropship, and two groups of Super Mutants, and oh yeah, a radscorpion.

So I've played Fallout 3 for 50+ hours and today 3 things happend that I have not seen before and I'm not sure how I managed to miss them.

1. That crazy merchant who talks about life then dies infront of you, has a note that reveals the location of Oasis.

2. The kid who get's you to help him at Grayditch.

3. Regulators and Talon Mercs having a fight, both having contracts to kill me.


It was a busy day in the Wasteland.
