What is the most random thing that has happened to you today? I walked into the old Temple of the Union and there was a deathclaw going crazy.

Hmm, there's a few, but the once that really sticks out is the flying Protectron. It just... flew. I guess that's the best way to explain it.

I made the same thread as well when I found something that made me go "wtf" on my first playthrough. All I remember was hearing some guy, when I walked up to him... it sounded like something charging up then he exploded.

series of explosion on a chartered road where cars are lined up line dominoes, i stepped in a random land mine and it exploded, all my squad (lucy west, fawkes, sarah lyons and jericho) were KIA, had to reload another early save.

This happened to me as well, just outside Smith Casey's Garage. It just fell from the sky and crashed about 10 feet away from me. Amazing.

If you happen to hear random shots close by, you might want to investigate, because the traders could have gotten caught up in your "activation zone". Or the other option is to immediately fast travel away. Unless you don't worry much about the traders.

Then again, it could be talon company versus a couple of radscorpions...

On topic, falling protectron or just bodies falling from the sky. One thing that throws me off, in Megaton, I come out of a building and Paladin Hoss appears out of nowhere and runs out the gate....

I was doing a quest to take out some slavers at the Washington monument, and after I returned to the slaves and told them the slavers were gone, I followed them to the monument.
I had Fawkes with me, and suddenly the freed slaves started to attack him, and one of them said something to me like 'I could do with some help here'! Needless to say, Fawkes wiped them out (with some minor help from me).
I thought maybe the slaves weren't what they seemed, even though they'd given me some sort of reward. I reloaded and did it again, and they were peaceful as you'd expect free slaves to be!

Not very random but, when I was in DC, I was around the monument and a Super Mutant Brute attacked me with a minigun. I was only level 5 and I destoryed the minigun, after than the Brute ran away from me into some trenches. It was still almost 100% health.

I killed it though >:)

I was doing the MZ DLC.

I put of the space suit and went out into space. I got inside the top area of this ship and I thought it was safe to take the space suit off. It wasn't. My head exploded and I died. The strange thing is, I lost karma for doing it.

I was walking and I saw some hunters I talked to them and they didnt talk like normal hunters they talked like the people from Andale I asked what kind of meat they were selling and they said"the very best kind!"I asked to see what they had for sell and all they sold was strange meat.
