Meh, modded Cowboy Repeater is my weapon of satisfaction. So is the Sniper Rifle (Pre-Patch when it was useful for sniping)

Off Topic: Why will no one pick something else than the NCR flag?

On Topic:

Probably YCS for its amazing damage and great weapon art. Plus, I LOVE the Gauss Rifle. I think it was brilliant and the best weapon in the series.

10mm pistol and Trail Carbine. More powerful weapons exist, but these just feel right.

Just started a new game, snuck past the Cazadores at the tribal camp and (barely) defeated the raiders at Bonnie Springs. Got both my guns at 3rd level. Neat.

Agreed, I'm a 'spot them by their avatar' person. When two people use the same Avatar, it confuses me. :cryvaultboy:

Urm? Great weapon art?

It has no firstperson textures, and one of its two texture sets has a misassigned normal map.

I'd have to say the hunting shotgun. It just feels (and sounds) so powerful.

Varmit Rifle + Night Vision Scope + Silencer + Extended Mag = bye bye vermin
.357 Magnum Revolver + HD cylinder + HD Frame + Extended barrel = thug be gone
Incenerator + Expanded tanks = back up

I noticed my latest play through I keep using my .357 magnum revolver with .38 special cartridges more and more. Hell I had my armor piercing 5.56 varmit rifle equipped when the BoS confronted me five close range shots to the helmets with pings and no penetration from the armor piercing rounds I just had to go to my trusty old back up. Those metal suits might stop my small caliber armor piercing rounds but can it stop the transfer of heat.

Even an energy weapons buff like myself isn't ashamed to admit that outside of the P-94 Plasma Caster energy weapons just seem to pew-pew-pew rather unsatisfactoraly (also not including the Gauss weapons because they should be small guns dammit!). Sometimes nothing feels as good after blasting an NCR trooper than the sound of a pump-being pulled back or in the case of the most satistfactory gun ever, in my opinion, just the sound of another shotgun shell being fired.

1. Riot Shotgun without a shadow of a doubt, christ is it cool just to un-load an entire clip into some helpless grunt all in about 5 seconds flat.

2. Plasma Caster, I just love the thud of the gun being fired along with the body being blasted apart about half-a mile away in a single shot, is it me or for an under-arm weapon is the plasma caster realy accurate.

3. Hunting Shotgun and Holorifle both tie here, ever since BioShock, which has what I think is the slowest but somehow coolest pump in existance, I've just loved shotguns despite them being rather archaic.

Guns: I'm on the boat with the Hunting Shotgun. It just feels more... awesome, you know?
Energy Weapons: I'd have to say the Pulse Gun when I use it. That charging up and firing sound is so pleasing to my ears and it dispatches PA and Robot enemies just like that.

When they far, the Ratslayer. Finesse luck and many criticals. When they get a little closer, scoped Trail Carbine. Then when they get near, This Machine. When they arrive, Pushy+Ranger Takedown and they fly away.

10mm SMG+big mag+recoil with HP ammo for the Cadzadors.
