As we all know Bosmer and Khajiits are considered the most sneaky races in TES; but which one is more sneaky?

Khajiit.

Bosmer have the highest racial bonus to the sneak skill, so they're probably the sneakiest.
I like the Khajiit more and think of them as the archetypal "sneaky thief" race, however.

Bosmer are sneaky rangers/killers
Khajiit are sneaky thieves/scoundrels

I think it might depend on the game, I'll have to compare/contrast Morrowind and Oblivion.

My off-topic thought: Racial bonuses should only apply to attributes and powers. Skill bonuses ought to be based on the culture the character grew up in, making two characters living in very different cultures develop different skill but biologically beginning with the same "raw talent" in the form of attributes/powers. I don't know why I feel compelled to say this, so it is what it is

Just realized that this question is highly dependent on what form of Khajiit we are referring to.

The pahmar, pahmar-rath, alfiq, alfiq-raht, toyja, toyja-raht, and suthay are more sneaky the bosmer.
The suthay-raht, ohmes, ohmes-raht is likely on the same league as the bosmer.
The senche, senche-raht, cathay, cathay-raht I imagine are less sneaky than the bosmer.

Bosmer are bad for armies because they can desert by slipping into a single tree.

Khajiit are more likely to steal your moon sugar

Bosmer will slit your throat and eat you

I've always thought of Bosmer as more or less forward scouts, while Khajiit's are more the thief archetype

The Khajiit do have the "hunter" vibe going though.

Reading http://www.imperial-library.info/content/oblivion-mixed-unit-tactics, we find descriptions of Bosmer moving into a location, readying their trap for the Khajiit high in the trees. Little did the Bosmer know, that they had passed Khajiit waiting in stealthy holes on the forest floor, and the Bosmer climbed the trees unaware of the more cat-like Khajiit already occupying the upper limbs.

So it definitely depends on the 'breed' of Khajiit. And also whether or not we allow for the use of innate/learned magic.

I'm going to decide in favor of the cat folk :trophy:

Sorry if hadn't posted in a while on my own thread. Anyway, in reality you could say that Khajiit are more stealthly than the Bosmer. But yet again as some of you had pointed out it depends on the type of Khajiit.
