From the front gate of Camp McCarran, to Contreras in the very far back end of the zone. Gotta go through 4 doors, and it takes two full sprints to exhaustion plus a bunch of slow jogging, to get there. If there's one thing that could drive me to joining the Legion, this stupid run might just be it. It really should have been a fast-travel option, once you entered the camp's mini-zone. There are a lot of other places in the game that you have to travel a long ways to get to, but all of them can be fast-travelled to, after you discover them. Not Contreras. Grrrr.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates having to jog through 3 loading screens in camp mccarran, just to sell some laser rifles. Stupid gun runners not having enough caps.

Ah, it's moments like these when I really appreciate the art of modding.
I modded in map markers to his place as well as other locations like FotA, Kings, Atomic, Silver and 2 at RRC.

Thanks for the tip, not a modder myself, but a quick trip to Nexus, and now i have markers for Contreras and each section of the strip. Bless you, mod-makers!

Well think all the times I headed 'home' when I use the 38 as my home. Just annoying after the fifth time, and it doesn't get better at the fiftieth. Should have really made a marker with 38 suite or something. And allow me to fast travel from my suite as well. It's pointless this way. Guess I could mod it.

On the Nexus New Vegas mod site, search on 'NVS Easy Fast-Travel'. It adds travel map markers for the 38, Tops, and NCR embassy.

Completely agree. Even worse cause contreras has lots of . 308 and 12.7.
