In Shining Armor.
Not the "most useless" but it's certainly useless.
Most enemies don't use EW excluding some Fiends and BOS but BOS is fixed to one locations and the weapons that the Fiends use are really crap anyway.

Best: Rad Child. Heals my current character to full in just 1 hour while having just minor rad poisoning. Extremely handy on hardcoe.

Worst is probably, uh, Retention? I've never had the need for 300% duration on skillbook durations.

My favourite is Jury Rigging and my least favourite is probably.. the Map one at level 20. Ruins the fun of exploring for me.

While it's useful for you doesn't mean it's useful for him.
It's useless to him because it ruins the fun of exploration for him.

Favourite perk.... all but two.
Least favourite.. Swift learner and Here and now.
These were fillers in FO1+, but in FO3 and NV don't even raise to that standard of flags.

Best perk (for me) is Jury Rigging. "Oh hey my 9000 cap Anti-Materiel Rifle that shoots expensive .50MG ammo is degrading, *Goes to Gun Runners, buys a less-than-200 cap Single Shotgun* *AMR is fully repaired, spent less than 200 caps verses the over 1000 caps a repairer would have charged* "now lets go teach Caesar how to bite a bullet."

Worst would be Friend of the Night, its bright enough already.

Favorites: Finesse, Better Criticals, Hand Loader

Least Favorite: Friend of the Night, Animal Friend (animals are for hunting, anyway), Robotics Expert (not a whole lot of robots to fight here), Swift Learner, Retention.

Best of course is jury rigging. Its great no matter that kind of type your using (unless thrown, which is kinda annoying.)
Worst is the quick draw, you can draw faster yes, but that means nothing if you can't fire for a while.
One I love the most though is given perk ranger takedown, (force push in the face)

Another one for Jury Rigging. Confirmed Bachelor and Cherchez la Femme as well as Black Widow, wouldn't play without it when I talk to Benny. I also use Cannibal, Terrifying Presence, Light Step and Silent Running. Nuka Chemist is fun and Spray n Pray comes in handy and I always add Mysterious Stranger but he rarely comes. I read Miss Fortune was bugged so I never use her. I also use all the explosive, guns, sniper, shooting all those kind of perks too, I like almost all the perks really. I only use level 1 of Animal Friend because I hate to see them get shot when they come to my rescue. I would rather eat humans than a cuddly mole rat.

Comprehension doubles skill books and magazines so I take it every game, same for Educated. I take Intensive Training multiple times (+ 6 Implants) and always get Animal Friend and Jury Rigging.

I wasn't impressed with Nerd Rage and didn't like Terrifying Presence.

This.

Altho I'd add that every single VATS-only perk is also entirely useless to me. At least it means I don't have to think as much about which perk to choose when I level up.

You know you can easily make 'weapon repair kits' eh'? A few common components and 50 repair. Almost like cheating with Ronnie in tow.

Or if you're an xbox user and bought Dead Money you can exploit the vending machine for basically unlimited weapon repair kits. :whistling:

Favorite Perk: Pack Rat. About 80%+ of what I usually carry around is effected by Pack Rat, including ammo, so having it cut stuff in halve means I can carry even more and not have to worry. I rarely pick up any weapons so what I have in my inventory in terms of weapons is what I'll probably end up having at the end of a play session.

Most Useless / Hated Perk: A third vote for Swift Learner and Here and Now. These two are ridiculous. To me, they make leveling even faster than what it already is, and it's already fast enough so that 10 Deathclaws with the Well Rested bonus can earn you atkeast 10% of your next level at the higher levels.

Favorite and Best: And Stay Back. THE BEST PERK EVER, knocks down Deathclaws (and pretty much anybody else) who don't/doesn't die in 1 shot from my shotgun shell (I love Shotguns btw)
2nd Best and Favorite: Shotgun Surgeon. Weakens armored enemies so I can kill them quicker, and if I don't kill them in 1 shot, I'll knock them down, then kill them, leaving me unscathed. (Especially useful for Deathclaws)
3rd Best: Intense Training. This perk is worth 4000 caps, the value of an implant, but you can take this 10 times without limit and without cost, and you can raise a stat by more than one point if you take this twice.
Worst: Friend of the Night. When its nighttime, I wait till daytime, because its pretty hard to see, night vision makes it worse.

NOTE: Swift Learner is not that bad (2 or 3 ranks) when you are constantly gaining XP from Speech challenges. Instead of gaining 50 XP, you gain 65 XP, it builds up. If you don't do Speech, then yeah, SL is stupid.

Terrifying presence I got but never seemed to get to use, so seemingly the most useless.

And toughness has been the most used since I normally don't go for high endurance characters. Comprehension would be equal to that, it's just so beneficial.

Melt down is one I'd say that's sort of useless since I found it overkill and out of place when using laser weapons, got it then reverted to old save and went with something else.
