What do you think is the most useless weapon?

What do you think is the most useless unique weapon?

Gun?

EW?

Explosive?

Melee?

Unarmed?

What weapon do you think was implemented incorrectly, and it doesn't do its job satisfactorily?

1. .22, no use after the first few areas.
2. Not useless but of less use is the laser pistol.

3. Other: most thrown explosives are only of use rarely, the skill is more a back up for rare events than a main one.

4. plain ol' straight razor is the only one, fun early on for that Sweeny Todd vibe taking out guards, worthless later on.

5. Boxing gloves / tape, if the game actually made more non com pacifist routes possible these would not have even made the list imo.

Edit, cleaned up due to being more more prickly than it should have been.

Out of that list...

1. .22, no use after the first few areas.
Why the heckity is the caravan in that list?, I can kill a deathclaw at level 8+ with it easily. and at 6 kill every giant rad on the map including both queens in seconds.

2. Not useless but of less use is the laser pistol. Plasma for me, laser is faster.

3. Other: most thrown explosives are only of use rarely, the skill is more a back up for rare events than a main one. Time bombs are worst, they fail as mines and arent thrown. Only good is in a vault...

4. Another strange list, plain ol' straight razor is the only one, fun early on for that Sweeny Todd vibe taking out guards, worthless later on. I thought rolling pin was worse

5. Boxing gloves / tape, if the game actually made more non com pacifist routes possible these would not have even made the list imo. Yep damage fatigue, why the hell would I ever need that ? They just get back up and shoot you.

Edit, yes it was very bashy I appologise, I did not mean it it to be so, I edited it out as way to say sorry.

@ this is not my name, yes time bombs are oddly implemented to say the least.
First try I planted one, exited the area.... came back nothing it had even disapeared as well, fun in cases but useless generally.
Plasma pistols are quite annoying too, accuarcy and speed does make the laser pistol out class it mostly, you're right.

Since i don't use melee or unarmed weapons ("My hands! My beautiful hands!") I answered 'Other.'

As for the rest of the list, I never (and I never use superlatives :wink_smile: ) never use any of them—with the occasional exception of a frag grenade or two.

With the exception of a possible role playing scenario, every one of these is literally useless.

There is a Mod for that. Home made C-4 with a Sensor Module replacing the Timer. (Haven't got the link at hand, sorry.)

You should try making a melee/unarmed file. Very fun to use.

But time bomb is THE most useless weapon in the game. Most weapons you people deemed 'useless' can actually be used as holdout weapons. On a side note, is C4 a holdout weapon? If not, why?

1 - the non-Unique BB Gun, is technically worse than the .22
2 - eh, Laser pistol I guess.
3 - all of them, since I never use them (and companions just like to blow you up with them)

The C-Finder is a once in 24 hour weapon that weighs 15 pounds and frequently will not kill a deathclaw. It is not worth the weight.

I have snuck C-4 into the Gammorah.

C4 is a holdout weapon IIRC. I didn't pick the .22 Pistol because it's a decent holdout weapon. The main reason I voted BB Gun. 2 Damage, can't even bring in as a holdout weapon. Does less damage than the .22, etc.

I had a Feral Ghoul that had a Butter Knife and some Cigarettes on him after I killed him,
So I would say the worst weapon is a Butterknife and Cigarettes

Most Useless Gun;
BB Gun, don't even bother to pick it up to sell it.
Single Shotgun & Service Rifle, by the time you get those, they're only useful to repair other guns with.

Most Useless EW;
Alot of them are useless really, but I guess I'd go with the way under powered Laser Pistol.

Most Useless Explosive;
Any mine/placed charge, very few places and situtations to use them.
I usully give the thrown explosives to someone like Cass, and stay out of the way LOL. I do like grenade rifles for sitting behind a hill or ridge and softining up Canzordas and the like.

Most Useless Melee Weapon;
LOL too many to list.

Most Useless Unarmed Weapon;

I remember being disappointed that I couldn't pick up someone's shot-off arm or leg and beat their remaining buddies over the head with it.
