Most Viable Class Option?

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 3:26 pm

I'm not sure about you, dear reader, but I enjoy games that give you the ability to obtain god-like status. Capitalizing on skills, attributes, and armor proves to be a lovely hobby for any gamer.

What do you think the most viable class option is? Which class will make you truly feel the power that should be "Dragonborn"?

I'd say archer is the most overpowered "class". Combine it with sneak and you got a deadly character.

The most viable classes are always hybrid classes. There are tons of hybrid classes that would let you become a god. Illusion tree on it's own mixed with just about anything else is OP beyond belief.

With a sword and board character and some decent player skill handling the shield you can become thee ultimate bad ass without exploiting crafting. You only need high level smithing to make some legendary gear.

A high block skill with a good shield negates almost all mn melee damage, the time slow perk lets you interrupt attacks + stagger or simply move around/behind the enemy. The perk for blocking arrows is great, does take your actively attempting to block the arrow as they can go around your shield. Lastly the elemental resistance shield perk lowers the advantage a mage had over you. Even without exploits I can manage challenging opponents and defeat them with almost no damage taken by just playing smart.

If you add crafting exploits to this build you become a God.

Lastly sword and board just fits the Dovakiin dragon slayer theme much better then thee other setups.

Lol everything is OP, no best classes. Archer/sneak 1hitta quitta, most weapon builds can be fortified to insane levels, and illusion+anything else is OP.

I wanna say a spellsword. Spec 1H plus Resto with STR and WP and you are pretty much an unstoppable killing machine.

I prefer my two handed weapons, using a shield in my opinion is so....boring. And way too easy. And skyrim is a land of barbrian like people, a shield does not fit at all. That plus enchanting and smithing, and a tiny bit of archery, you pretty much can dominate all situations. Oh, and light armor, cuz what self respecting nord uses heavy armor, psh.

That doesn't really have anything to do with class overpoweredness. Those are all subjective roleplaying observations.

Illusionist/Assassin has been the easiest for me so far. Dragons are your only real tough fight. Everything else you simply calm/backstab/calm/backstab until they are dead.

The fun is experimenting and get your "own" perfect build. The link below points you to the start and tells you what is needed to get a godly character, but not THE godly character. If you know what I mean.
