No, he doesn't. The closest thing is journal entries. As long as the entries are between two specific indexes, he is definitely following you.

The dude just won't shut up! I mean, I was in the middle of a battle fighting some spriggans, and dude suggest we go to Ghostgate to find some treasure...WTF!!!

Anyways, I got Im-Leet dead, and Rolf the Uber also (went to a daedric ruin and have the golden saints, seducers, atronaches, winged twilight, etc. all attacked at once, while I cast invisibility

But Mini-T refuses to go down! 10 minutes later, he's fighting around 10 of them, and still at full health!
