I've read many postings about different bugs with the Moth Priest. Mine seems to be different. I am with the Dawnguard faction (not a vamp). The moth priest is in the Dawnguard fortress and is not attacking anyone (as other people say happens sometimes). Isran tells me to have the Moth Priest read the elder scroll. But when I go to the Moth Priest the only 2 possible replies don't ask him to read it. The vamp lady is there with me, still carrying it on her back.

I have the Unofficial Dawnguard patch going. Any help?

You being on PC, you sould advance the quest with console commands.

If you speak to the moth priest before speaking to Isran, he will read the scroll. However, your quest log won't check off the objective saying to speak to Isran, which shouldn't affect anything, as the quest will advance and the next one will be given.

What I did was save before speaking to the moth priest or Isran, then speak to the priest, reload, then speak to Isran and used console commands to advance the quest. This way, I got to see the scroll being read, but still got all quest objectives checked off.
