Mother kills her two children

Post » Thu Apr 15, 2010 8:47 pm

Facts are over-rated. Blind assumptions have solved so many more problems. :P

Personally, I'm not entirely sold on the death penalty for this woman. She deserves it, mind you...extremely actually, but that would be like hitting the husband twice. He just lost his kids, then he goes through the hell of having his wife executed.

This reminds me of Shutter Island(which I just watched yesterday). It's depressing.

I hate to say this but I can't help but think that if she's that messed up I'm glad that she had enough sense to remove any mistakes she may have made against the gene pool.

How did any of that get the green light to post? That's just ridiculous.

To be honest if i was the husband , i would not mind if they execute her or throw away the key but that's just my opinion. ( of course i'm not in the situation so i can't speak how i would feel at the moment )

Yeah, you have a point. I just wish the lady would have done something other than think killing them was the best thing to do. Maybe research it a little? My best friend's brother is autistic. Here's a list of things he can do:

- Speak Spanish almost fluently
- Draw, from memory, detailed road maps with all the stores of outlets listed in them
- He made a, somewhat to scale, model of Ocean City, MD on the floor of their house. It stretched a good 25-30 feet
- He works at Wawa, GameStop and is part of a swim team

I mean, if she would have just looked into it and realized what some (I say some because I'm not sure of actual statistics. Just going off of what I know) people with autism can do, then maybe she wouldn't have been so quick to kill them. The article even says the 5 year old was going to speech therapy and improving.

i know what you mean, my dads friends daughter babysits an austic boy, hes 5 years old and he can tell you the name of a ceiling fan by just looking at it, like he knows the name of the brand, the model number, everything. its pretty amazing.

I don't mean autism by that statement, I just mean that anyone as sick and twisted as her shouldn't be having kids.

Hi, Xycolian!

I can digg that. If I ever have kids, and someone killed them, I would sure as hell want their head on a pike. But what if the killer was my wife....It's really deep....

Disabled kids don't really do well in the adoption/foster department. Which is really sad.

What I'm especially disturbed by is her feeling nothing. I'm going to assume she has some mental illness.

I agree.

Justice is geared towards repairing or preventing future problems.
This cannot be repaired, and the death penalty harms society (and her husband) disproportionately to how much is helps.

Really, shame, I often hear of foster parents raising kids regaurdless of disability. Also autism can be minor, so she could have had the "normal" kids she wanted. So much for motherly love.

Also yes the husband will suffer, but what if they have another kid who isnt "normal", besides she deserves it imo, killing her 2 kids, bad for him yes, but after what she did I would be suprised if he still loved her.

I'm going to have to second that notion. There's obviously something wrong with a person who can kill their own children and treat the matter as if they had killed a cockroach.

Oh yeah. OH YEAHHHHH. No human can feel nothing after killing their own children. That woman either had a severe mental illness that wasn't apparent, or she just....lacked something.

It's a sad story, but not the worst thing I've ever seen. I'd share the worst article I've ever read, but the thread I posted CD is gone.

what has this world come to? *sighs* people are a real shame nowdays. i just dont know how some one could kill they're own kids and not even feel anything about it. i say give her life in prison, the death penalty is an easy way out.

This isn't something that is "recent" the ugly truth is in countries outside of the US, UK, France and anything not 3rd world, it isn't "illegal" to kill disabled children. Maybe in some it is, but it is sometimes even condoned by topics we must not speak of on this forum. Most things one can think of as unprecedented aren't "new" they aren't good, but they are not a new development.

yeah, but also the death penalty is an easy way out, most people would rather take it than be stuck in prison for life. thats why i say to hell with the death penalty let her rot in solitary confinement.

Perhaps she is a video game addict and has gotten so used to the idea of restarting video game characters so much that she brought that mentality into real life. Ah-ha, video games are responsible for all the world's violence! There's the proof!

Seriously, though, she sounded as if she thought having children was just a "try, and if not satisfied, delete and restart" type of thing.

Shieze, I feel bad about killing cockroaches sometimes... I mean they're kind of cute when you think of it, right?

Chickens can die, though. They're effing delicious.

Wow, that's kind of f'ed up. I can kind of understand why she did it though, raising autistic kids is a real challenge

If she couldn't deal with it then maybe she shouldn't have had children at all

There are other alternatives such as adoption as well

There isn't any reason or excuse for this
