Mother kills her two children

That's a horrible story :( Seems to me like a failure of the welfare around her - not enough resources out there to help her with either her children's autism or her own depression.

There have been threads on such things. I think someone suggested I be banned for the last time I made such a thread. The thread got closed, and now it's gone. Want the article?

That scares me more than advlts commiting crimes, that article has scared memore than any other.

well its because pretty much all the murders in mcallen are about the gangs or someone didnt get a drugs delivered so they wind up dead or someone stole some money from a drug dealer and they get executed. local street gangs dont get their guns the legit way. plus, for your everyday person, there are restrictions with concealed guns but if someone breaks into your house; well, its open season.

Um...not everyone can actually afford a gun. Those things aren't cheap, y'know. Not everyone owns a gun 'round these parts.

well, its open season

Can I get a high-five for our Castle Doctrine?

Damn, well atleast you wont have to worry if they go in your house to kill you. What if you own land, and they tresspass, if so get lots of land, and a house in the middle, that way you have more time. Assuming land = part of your property laws apply to.

I would have thought with so many guns in America, they would be cheap-ish.

there was one incident in texas where someone was breaking into a car or something like that on a driveway and the owner pulled out a shotgun and killed both the crooks. totally legal. and the man defending his property was on the phone with cops while doing it. do you remember that verlox?

Well, you can get cheap guns. But they're kinda crappy. A good rifle can cost $500 minimum.

That's why I'm happy all my family's guns have been in the family for awhile.

Nah, I don't think I ever heard about that. But his actions were justified by the Castle Doctrine, so it's legit.

I wasn't aware that "evil" was passed on to one's children. If he had children they'd surely receive ill-will for their relation to the man, but unless they were raised to follow their father's beliefs then there's no reason to believe that they would be different than anyone else's kids.

Are you joking? If Hitler had children, they probably would have been stoned to death by some angry mob, regardless of whether they were raised to follow their father's beliefs.

is there something like that in florida? because we have some neighbors who are kinda bad people, steal things etc, they actually tried a hit and run on me and my dad once, my dad chased them down.

no guns are quite expensive, i think the cheapest gun i have is a Ruger Bearcat .22 revolver, it was about $480.
i want to get a browning citori, but they are quite pricey, in the thousands of dollars.

That's why I'm happy all my family's guns have been in the family for awhile.

same here, i inherited all of my guns, a 16 gauge winchester model 12 shotgun, a semi auto maril .22 rifle, a single shot .22, and another semi auto .22, and we also have an old double barrel shotgun from 1892, its got the hammers and everything, all the harware is damascus steel.

the only guns ive bought are the revolver and a ruger m77/17mach 2

I know of that case, it was on the news here, I agree with the guy, if a criminal is going to break the law, he will get a gun regaurdless of the law, atleast you get a chance to defend yourself. Yeah I remember it though

Thats it I think.

Well I dont want to get into guns too much, mainly because I know little about them so I cant really say much about good ones bad ones, I just know pull the trigger with safety off, to shoot. And all guns do that, so yeah dont know any good guns, bad guns, etc.

I believe Florida has a similar law. A "stand your ground" version. I'd check with local lawmakers, though.

Now if we can make it clear to people that Texas is our home. And we have no duty to retreat from it. Some people will know what I'm talking about.....

If we want to talk about this, maybe we should make a thread? We're detracting from a particularily heinous crime.

Eh, I don't think any states use the Chair anymore. I think the only valid forms of execution still in use are lethal injection, firing squad, and hanging.

But like I said before, while this monster deserves the death penalty, giving it to her would just be a double whammy to the husband. Something I don't think he really needs right now.
